MYSTERY OF WUNU

The Wunu mountain located in Jinlin and Liaoning peninsular was a site for many discoveries. This includes the site for tombs of ancient Koguryo cities and 40tombs built in 37BC. But with so many interesting facts the Wunu mountain is also a dangerous fact for the people, who ever goes beyond it never comes back and it has remained so until...

The Wunu mountain was believed to be just as normal as the other mountains until there was once a huge discovery of the 'Unicorn Lair' which is believed to have been ridden by 'King Tongnyong' in the 7th century BC to AD. Before the discovery this was only in the story books kids read but this was confirmed by the 'Democratic People' Republic of Korea.

The lair was located 200m from Pyongyang city Temple in the Moran Hill in Pyongyang city. The rectangular rock covered with words 'Unicorn Lair' believed to date back to the period of Koryo Kingdom (918_1392) china and Korea peninsular.

The discovery spread all around the country and of course it reached a certain curious archeologist "Honey I don't think its safe" his wife said worriedly "Don't worry I have been doing this for years am aware about everything" he smiled to his wife but she felt this was not a good idea at all even in the first place.

Mr.Park was a well known archeologist with his talent. This man knew too much minerals, artifacts, paintings he knew about all of it most importantly he quite discovered a number of tombs at the same Wunu mountain at its bottom imagine what will be at the top? This why the mountain is interesting . With his curious son who kept asking many questions about his work he decided to teach him at a very young age don't get him wrong he just taught what the kid wanted and seeing his much enthusiasm he couldn't help be proud and teach more to his kid who was so smart for his age actually.

Mr. Park had already made his mind going farther into Wunu mountain to discover the most of it. Just thinking about it made him excited except his worried wife who kept telling him "can't you change your mind?" She asked again and again but he wouldn't agree and all she got to do is just support her husband "Promise me you will be OK?" She worriedly said "I can't promise you because this job is dangerous but if it goes well we will come back in one piece OK?" he assured her and pulled into a long warm hug as if it was the last one.

"Son are you ready?" He glanced at his 10year kid who was finishing to pack his bag pack. "You look like those mountain climbers with the ropes on your waist and those daggers i could mistaken you for them you know" he chuckled "well aren't we climbing mountains?" He asked with his pitched small voice "Awe my Jimin has grown so proud" he carried the small boy swinging him "dad I might throw up" he complained and finally put him down falling into laughter.

"Dad am so happy that finally i will get to adventure with you am so excited" the bubbly boy jumped up in utter joy "well am excited too" he said getting up now all ready "Ready son?" He asked "Born Ready" he replied with the eye smile how cute he looked.

"Take care mom" the cute boy wave to his worried mom "promise.....y" he cut off her sentence "I promise that I and dad will come back safe ok mom" he assured her and giving her a tight hug.

Everything happened so fast without anyone realizing...Mr.Park with his son along with the other people got stuck in a cave to make it worse it was falling apart blocking the path they already came from "Run everyone!!" he shouted holding tight to his son now he regrets bringing his 10year to this death point..

Running with all their might the falling rocks were getting worse 20people now were 10 they miscalculated everything, ignoring the consequences of going into the Wunu mountain, the dangerous mountain. They didn't believe it was this dangerous until now running for their lives leave along the discoveries it doesn't matter now.

"Everyone climb its the only way" he alerted them getting his own ropes to tie around looking at his boy he was good to go very sharp and quick kid he couldn't help than smile at him "Let's go dad" he shouted. Despite a very scary time the kid didn't show any fear very calm and collected and very serious he knows these situations happen no need to freak out.

"Ahhhhhhh" a man shouted falling from now half the climbed cave five couldn't make it now only five remaining, with Park and his son in the front.

But something crazier happened, the top of the cave where they climbed they didn't notice the glass like ground. All they did was run making the weight much more not to mention the magma which was below, hot liquid was intense.

The only way was again climbing up which actually leads to the peak of the mountain. Jimin was in the front and before he reached the end he froze in his place and looked back "Wait" he alerted "What's wrong Jimin?" His dad asked "Look down" he points at the ground "everyone slow and careful" all took small steps but nothing can be expected right.

Jimin was almost to the end his dad three steps away from him and the rest were in the middle with just a single mistake they are going down.

Slowly they walked looking around but luck wasn't on their side a gold coin slipped from the side pockets from one of the man behind "Noooooo" they shouted but it was too late. The coin made a crack and before they knew it the center broke like a glass and down they went. Jimin was fast enough to clutch to the rock "daaaad..." He screamed looking down to the hot pit. The temperature was getting hot "Jimin climb up" his dad screamed below him struggling to hold the rocky wall but it seems it won't be for long "am not leaving you" he cried "I can't make it you promised your mom you have to climb up" he used all the strength he had but the boy wasn't listening he wants his appa to be with him "no I won't leave you" he screamed while tears streamed down his now red cheeks "if you die with me who will complete the mission" he reasoned and the younger seems to get the point its true whatever they came for they didn't make it even a half of it "I love you OK, take care of mom and tell her I love her too now go kid now" the younger did as told.

The magma was rising up by now the heat so unbearable with all his strength he climbed up giving his dad one last glance who smiled back at him before he too disappeared.

Finally he made it up and the mountain had a blast but there wasn't any volcano eruption and the boy wondered how, yet the magma was on the verge of erupting.

He was feeling so weak by the time he reached down from where they first entered it looked normal like nothing happened before "What even happened?" He asked to no one specific looking above the mountain which seemed the same.

Everything was becoming a blur around still crying his heart out and before he knew it darkness engulfed him...
