( Khun Pov )

' He's dangerous... killing the moment the round just started. We he also try to kill us?' I thought as I looked at Bam, who had a worried face.

" Hey, Bam?"

" Y...yes?"

" Do you and Zero know each other?" I asked.

" Eh?...a..ah..uhm...we took the first test together."

" I see. Is there nothing else?" I asked.

Bam shook his head.

' Nothing... I don't have any information on him. All I know are the basics. He can control the air to capture things. He uses a sword and those eyes. And....shinsu...'

I frowned as I relaxed how much skills this man has.

' But it seems he's not skilled in using shinsu now... and now that I think about it... he was never pushed back by the wall of shinsu.'

" Hey, khun?" Bam spoke as I lifted my head towards his direction.

" Hm?"

" How... how did he manage to block those attacks?"

" The wave controller?"

Bam nodded his head.

" Well, it seems he's able to control the air with his hand... and that silver aura. So that bust be it..."

' His hand!!! If we could restrict his hand or keep it occupied, he would be able to use it!!' I concluded as I stared at him.

( Zero Pov )

I stared down at Khun, the white-haired man.

His eyes shone as he saw some light.

' I wouldn't be surprise if he managed to find a weakness... the real question is which one? Is it the ones I know or another that I don't... I guess I'll see when the next round starts.'

" And now.... we have the final round left!"

" The count will start now, so any joining teams, please press the buzzer!"

The remaining teams started to walk out of their cages as I got ready for a fight.

But the next second, a person in a black suit with a staff started a fight with another team, taking them down easily.

I narrowed my eyes as i activated [ Sharingan ] to memorize her moves.

She was fast and experienced as she easily took them down.

Her head turned towards my way.

" Bam!!" I heard Khun, but I didn't look over as I kept my eye on the woman.

" Zero!" I heard Bam as I glanced at him.

" If you win, will you really nullify the deal?" He asked.

' It seems the ranker also explained my side as well...'

" Yes." I replied, causing him to smile.

" Now, move. That lady will be..." With [ Quick Reflexes], I blocked the person's attack from hitting Bam.

" Bam! Move! Now!" I shouted as I barely managed to block her attack.

But in the next second, she stepped back to dodge an attack.

" You okay?" I looked behind me to see Bam nodding.

' Dang it... I can't protect Bam and the crown... and the others....tsk!' But it seems Khun and Rak stepped up to block another team.

" Bam!" Khun shouted.

" Hes, fine!" I replied as I looked at the two women.

The woman recalled her weapon.

" Isn't that suit embarrassing? I can't bear to see that, Leotard."

" Y... you are??" Bam stuttered.

' She's defending us? But why?' I thought as I looked at the other hooded woman.

' Blonde hair...freckles...isn't that the woman Bam is looking for?' I looked behind me to see Bam staring at her.

" R... Rachel??"

He didn't receive a reply.

" What are you staring at? Am I that pretty?" The cloaked woman asked as she stood in front of the woman in the black suit.

She didn't reply as she swung her stuff at the cloaked woman.

" How mean." The other woman lowered her stance.

' Needles?' I saw the woman unleashed a few red needles.

I began to observe the fight closely.

As I observed the fight, I noticed another one. A tall hooded figure.

' This...this feeling... danger.'

' I see... they're not interested in the crown if they did. He alone would be enough.' I concluded.

It didn't take long for the hooded woman to mess up as a black suit took this chance to jump over her.

But her attack landed on the cloaked woman, Rachel.

" Rachel?" Bam exclaimed.

He jumped off the chair to protect the woman as he got hit in the head.

Before the woman could continue, I grabbed her staff and punched her face, breaking the mask as some of the shards cut her face.

" Aaahh!!" She screamed as she fell to the ground covering her face.

But then I saw the blood cut in my arm.

How...?

" Bam? Bam!!" I heard the woman shouting Bam's name as I looked over to see him unconscious.

' God dammit Bam!' I sighed as I looked around the area.

No one tried to fight anymore as Khun was worried about Bam, and the other team wasn't interested in the crown.

After the game, everyone was given three days of rest.

" Khun..." I walked towards khun as he looked up at the sky.

" Zero." He replied.

We both stayed silent as we looked at the sky.

Khun didn't take the crown since Bam was injured.

" Sorry... I couldn't protect Bam..." I spoke.

Mhun shook his head.

" You had the crown. And it was Bam who decided to do that... but thank you for trying." Khun smiled.

I nodded as I looked at my system.

" I refused to enter the next level." I spoke, catching Khuns' attention.

" You...what?" He asked.

" I realized... I won't be able to make it far without any allies."

" Seeing that many strong teams... I wouldn't be able to fight them all, but if it wasn't for your guys' help and those hooded guys. I wouldn't have won."

I looked at Khun.

" Which is why I wish to make an alliance with your team, Khun." I held out my hand as he looked at it.

With a smile, he shook it.

" Then, it's a pleasure."

" In time, I wish we would become friends." After that, I left the area.

This was my first step in creating alliances, I also need to keep an eye out for any factions in the tower that I can use to my advantage.'

I looked at the scar on my arm, the way Bam used Shinsu to attack. Like it was an instinct no... it was as if the Shinsu protected him out of instinct.

( Lero Ro Pov )

" Who do you think is most dangerous in your group? "

" He didn't lose, did he? Yet he chose not to advance to the next level. And the other dangerous one, he lost because I sent them to you."

I dranked my coffee and stood up.

" Thank you for the drink, Test Firector Yu. See you later. "

As I opened the door to leave I opened my mouth.

" Test Director Yu."

" Yes?"

" Have you ever seen someone... who's not from great ten families... who hasn't made a contract with an administrator, but can still freely manipulate the shinsu?"

" No. I haven't. That is beyond the rules of the tower."

" Oh....! But I heard of one. Urek Mazini. He was an Irregular."

" That makes two... Zero."

" Oh?"

I left the room and thought of the game.

When Mr. Bam fell to the ground, as if the shinsu attacked of its own violations, it wasn't powerful, but the point is....

The way he did it violated the rules of the tower.

And the same applied with Zero.

The way he commanded the shinsu into his hand forcing the shinsu to replicate his enemies attack.

He violated those rules.
