After defeating the Demon King - entirely on accident, and throwing his lazy life into turmoil - Number 1 Hero Tiberius 'Hades' Aurelian hoped that he could continue to live his life lazily, enjoying the attention of his wives and spending the rest of his long life in comfort, but sadly for him... Well, Heroes Numbers 2 - 10 had different plans, and despite having a large advantage over each as an individual, Tiberius is brought down to his knees and executed, his former companions afraid of what his power means for them. Even some of his wives aid in his demise, and as he slips from his mortal coil, Tiberius Aurelian... is relieved. No more needing to worry about being the strongest, no need to worry about powerful enemies vying for his head, he leaves his life behind with no regr- well, he regrets not marrying that Nun at the Church, not being able to play with his three headed dog Cerberus, or being able to eat the delicious foods that his best friend cooked all the time! Well, at least he can relax in the afterlife... or so he thinks, as he finds himself face to face with a crazy Goddess who wants to marry him and chain him up for eternity. Not wanting to deal with that, Tiberius reluctantly escapes back into the mortal world, but 250 years have passed, and the 9 Heroes who killed him are still alive and well. Hell, some of his wives even claimed to have borne his children, leaving his 'legacy' alive and well; the Aurelian Dynasty had been created, despite him having never once allowed his wives to bear his children, since that would NOT allow him to be lazy! What should he do about this..? (More in the first 'chapter' of the book, read that before making a commitment of your time...)

So, overview of the book and where I plan on taking it first (that was a hefty synopsis meant to drag you in, and here I tell you a bit~ more!)
Tiberius and the Demon King never wanted to fight, but when Tiberius accidentally kills his equal, the world is in shambles.
Power balances are gone, and people need to fill that void; people like... him?
No, not him; the 9 other heroes who want to have some more fame and glory, and that includes two of his wives.
Tiberius is killed, and then he is sent to the afterlife, where he meets a crazy Goddess, blah blah blah (that'll be in the prologue) and eventually decides to come back to the world of the living... in a new body.
This time around, Tiberius REALLY wants to just relax, so he's going to do just that; be a lazy, yet powerful man who just wants to chill.
Sadly for him, life's a bitch, and she is nagging him constantly.
That's the idea; a stupid, cliche ridden comedy of a man with more power than most people could imagine.
What does that all mean?
1) He is going to be hiding his power, but he will NOT let people just walk over him; sometimes actions speak louder than words, so if some character is talking smack and he doesn't just murder them instantly, that's because that's stupid and this isn't a Chinese cultivation novel. (Actions have consequences)
This is because I both love and hate hidden power characters; they can be insufferable if they just... avoid helping and doing things because 'oh no my identity and power is revealed?!', but I love that they can just... be there doing stupid things, like buying groceries, and then tank a Lvl 100 punch and break the other dudes arm by just being hit (like Saitama from One Punch)
Tiberius will be like that; fuck with me a lot, find out a lot; fuck with me a little, find out a little, don't do anything, nothing happens. In other words, being a reasonable dude.
2) I want the world to be realistic (ish) fantasy and feel like there's stakes - for people who aren't Tiberius. He will see the same things that have always been around, and depending on if they bother him or not, he will either ignore them or deal with them.
That means that there are going to be terrible things happening; discrimination, prejudice, racism, sexism, murder, greed, and so on; books are an escape, and for me, that escape is going to be making a dude simply 'nope' all that shit because he's too strong.
3) This is going to be a journey following a powerful dude just living in the moment. Sometimes, things he wants are stupid and he'll go to great lengths to get it. Sometimes he'll do things in ways that are just meant to be stupid. I want to have fun and right an OP character, alright?
To me, in my (admittedly fucked up) head, this is a Konosuba, One Punch, Western Fantasy mashup that is meant to be a funny story with some serious points and undertones, but mainly a laugh or fun time for you, the reader.
Listen, I love reading and writing, so I gave myself a rule; Don't waste my readers time.
I've started reading many books and been stumped by a sudden shift in narrative direction that just... didn't sit right with me.
So that rule is why I'm making you read this (hopefully you're reading this...)
On the other side of that coin, because you now KNOW what this is, please don't waste MY time by being rude for the sake of rude, leaving reviews that aren't actually reviews, or being that guy who needs to tell me that you stopped reading (honestly, no one cares unless you provide a valid reason beyond 'this is stupid lol')
Don't come in here expecting 'Serious, Gigachad Young Master who face slaps everyone in a ten mile radius of they don't worship his radiance' or some other bullshit; Tiberius is going to be a chill character (unless you do something stupid like kick a puppy or steal his sweet roll)
Anyways, more questions that need answering...

The addition of smut is because... well, do I need a reason?
Romance - Yes, there will be romance, and it will be sort of Harem.
I know, I know; listen, it's not going past 5 women, and I don't have any plans to just throw them all forwards and make them sex characters; I want them to feel like lovers and wives to Tiberius, and that means fleshed out backgrounds and an actual CHARACTER.
I say sort of because now a days, that tag is just 'portable, walking fleshlights' in the shape of women as characters, though a few certainly manage to make it NOT that, and I hope I do too.
If you still can't stand that, I understand, and respectfully goodbye; see, this is me respecting your time, just as I hope you respect mine.
Past that, again, this is a Fantasy World; magic and swords and Demi Humans and monsters!
Stereotypical, cookie cutter world that I hope to make more unique as time goes on; otherwise, I mean, it's a world of magic and stuff, dunno what to say.
No guns or 'modern' inventions like cars or planes; hate that personally, so I never include it, but that doesn't mean people haven't invented magical plumbing or medicine.
Different world, but things that are NEEDED are still the same.
As for the plans for contracting the novel; this will be free till Chapter 60 at MINIMUM, and 80 at MAXIMUM, with each chapter being at least 1,000 words; so 60K+ words free before I make you use fast passes or pay (I gotta eat, and I hope I can make some dough with this...)
If you have any actual criticisms, feel free to tell me them, or if you have ideas, I'm all ears; some of my best ideas have been from readers!
Besides that, if you are from my other works, yes, this is a Male Lead book, sorry.
If you read that line and are confused, I write Female Lead stuff usually, with a focus on Yuri and Futanari; none of that here (maybe futa for a fetish chap or two, dunno (not gay, she'd still be the one taking))
So if you like my works enough and think you want to try some of my other stuff, go ahead, but again; I don't want to waste your time, so IF YOU CAN'T STAND THAT IDEA, DO NOT READ IT.
