Chapter 1 the unwanted arrival

<p>Melissa had just gotten home from a long day at college. She was tired and ready to unwind in the comfort of her home. As she pulled into her driveway, she noticed something strange on the ground. At first It was too dark for her to make out what it was, but as she got closer, she realized with horror that it was a body. Her heart racing, Melissa got out of her car and approached the body with caution. It was Adam, the most beloved boy at their college . His lifeless eyes stared up at her, his body cold and still.<br/><br/>Melissa wanted to scream but couldn't find her voice. She<br/>stumbled back to her car and fumbled for her phone, dialing 911<br/>with shaking hands.<br/><br/>As she waited for the police to arrive, Melissa couldn't help but wonder how Adam's body had ended up in her driveway.
