Adrian was supposed to become a doctor one day. He had been working towards that dream ever since he was young, but not because he had dreams of saving lives. He was after money, something his family had needed ever since his father passed away when he was only six years old.
Now, however, that fate has been ripped from his hands. His future was stolen from him. His, and the futures of 9,999 other individuals who find themselves in the same predicament he is in. Adrian now has two choices. To reclaim that future, Adrian must climb a mountain of corpses until he and 99 others find themselves on top of it. If he fails, he will die and his body will serve as a stepping stone to the one who killed him.

Hello, everyone! I wanted to take a moment to explain more about what would be expected from this book. The main character is (possibly guessed from the cover) not a good guy. He and his sister are both villains, so there will be many dark themes throughout the book. If you're the type of person to love a villain story- or just batshit crazy MC's, you'll be glad to know that's the type of story I intend to write.
There won't be any romance (at least for the time being), so I'll instead be focusing on the other aspects of the story, such as combat, leveling, kingdom building, and- of course- the carnage.
