Synopsis

Success has never come easy to the richest people in the world; Bill Gates had to work in his garage when starting Microsoft, Mark Zuckerberg wasn't some rich second-generation, he was merely a Harvard sophomore making an app to connect students in the university together. Now, where are these people today? Bill Gates became one of the richest men in the world, if not the richest. And Mark followed suit. Of course, that was decades ago, in the year 2110, reality wasn't as hopeful: Gone were the geniuses in garages, replaced with supercomputers running 24/7. Gone were the little guys with a dream, replaced with rich old men scheming the world to ruin. Putting rules on what people can or cannot do. But somewhere, in a decrepit old apartment complex, on the top floor, a young lad will face these adversaries head on, using fair means or foul to get ahead, and show them: Rules were made by men to be broken by men.

Petals of Destiny: A Symphony of Hearts

Meet Hikari Nakamura, a spirited and athletic young girl with a heart aflame with determination. Her passion for martial arts is only surpassed by her unwavering spirit. Opposite her, Takumi Kurosawa, a brilliant and handsome prodigy, graced with intelligence but burdened by the fragility of his own body. Within the prestigious halls of Sakura Academy in the heart of Tokyo, Hikari and Takumi's worlds collide, breaking the mold of societal expectations. As the seasons change, so does the rhythm of their relationship—from tentative friendship to an intricately woven tapestry of emotions. Yet, beneath the cherry blossoms' delicate embrace lies a story of internal conflict. Hikari grapples with the fear of losing Takumi to the shadows of his health struggles, while Takumi battles with self-worth, questioning if he deserves the love that blossoms within Sakura Academy. External conflicts arise as the unconventional bond between the athletic Hikari and the intellectual Takumi faces resistance from a society steeped in tradition. But, like the petals carried by the wind, their love is resilient. As Hikari discovers vulnerability within herself, she becomes a guiding light for Takumi, helping him find strength in the acceptance of his limitations. Their journey transcends the personal, transforming the dynamics of friendship circles and the broader Sakura Academy community.

I've read the story, and I have to say: It can do better. Lot's of words that could have fit the story perfectly went underused or neglected. And the scenes, while tense don't make your blood boil. I feel like this author has a lot of potential, but right now, they needs a thesaurus and some elbow grease...
