"I know; thank you for your concern," Maximus smiled, not wanting him to worry.

Bowing respectfully, Gerald left the room, leaving Maximus to rest from his injury.

Being left alone, Maximus started to think about his situation.

With such a loyal and strong butler around, keeping his noble title shouldn't be a problem.

Looking at his trash talent, it seemed the first thing he needed to do was change his fate.

Unfortunately, he didn't have a wife and a child.

A while later, A thin middle-aged man with glasses came inside.

"Greetings, Young Count." Tristan gave a bow.

Although Tristan didn't think much of Maximus, bound by the contract from the Shadowcrest Family, he didn't dare to stay out of bounds.

After signing a contract, unless he was a Tier 2 Great Mage or a Tier 3 Earth Knight, he had no way of betraying the family.
