Chapter Three: Our secret spot

(Ava's Pov) Jake and I sit up against the trees looking at the lake and the cliff. We sat there for a while just about everything.

I hear mom(May) howl for me to come home for lunch. Jake and I decided to shift and race back to my house. When we got house, Zach was outside mad at me. Jake decided to leave because he could tell Zach and plus he didn't want to get in trouble. I asked Zach what's the matter and he said "You Should Have Told Me Where You Were Going Not Ace!" I got mad at him and stormed into the house to eat. As soon as I was done with my lunch I went to my room. Matthew could ask if he could come in and I said sure. Matthew said "You know Zach is just very overprotective." I replied "I know, but he gets mad at me all time for telling y'all where I'm going instead of him." Matthew said "Me and others were talking about it and we thought y'all could talk it out while going on a run." I thought about it for a few minutes before replying "That's not a bad idea." I went to down the hall to Zach's room and knocked on the door. I hear Zach say "Come in" and I asked if he wanted to go on a run. He said "Yeah", so we left and shifted then took off running.

We talked about the whole situation for a bit, before we needed to rest. We rested a few, then left to head back to the house.

Dad(Derrick) called into his office to talk. I asked what he to talk about. He said "I want to talk to you about finding your mate."
