Armoured Trooper
Fadel's mouth and eyes were wide open as he look over the fact that Leonardo has activated the Trooper. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, like is his Royal Highness for real? Was he been hiding his strength all this time? No matter what, the times have no change, and the fact that he, Fadel, would have to reconsider first his future and for his survivability. After all, the options that he has now expanded exponentially. To which it seemed like that he would not have to worry about the near future for the time being. He could just observe for a while.
Panning back to Leonardo and CP.
"Woah! I am piloting a Mecha! Even if it is severely outdated, it seemed that we would have to apply humanities technologies and techniques from my universe into the future generation of this Mecha!" Leonardo spoke with glee.
Leonardo was practically delighted that he would be able to do all sorts of things into this world, as he will have the time to improve the soul technologies of this world, and moreover there was this thing called Mana that they recently discovered. He was sure that it would be of great help to humanity's cause in the future.
More than that, there was a large reservoir of resources in this world which he could exploit for research purposes to advance humanity's endeavor. Not only that, observing the backwardness of the current society he was in, he concluded that those resources are practically untouched and ready to be exploited by those who know how to exploit it.
He was also thinking that he would also have to advance the rejuvenation method in this world, and to declare aging as a disease, after all, the more workers there would be, the better and the better the more skilled they would be. Imagine an engineer with centuries' worth of experience? They would be highly sought!
There was also the fact that he needs to survive for as long as possible so that he could guide humanity against the coming of the Arachnids. Moreover, he also has to fix the current society's political bureaucracies and hierarchy. As the current society only allows the elitist to rule over the masses, at that point, the masses might just as well kill themselves off, as their abilities and skills would never be used fully for humanity's advancement.
He also thought that a Planned Economy would be the best course of action, as those that require it would be given and those who does not require much of it would be lowered in priority. There is a lot of action that needs to be done, as of now he has to set his foothold into this world first and secure enough political power to move the decadent government, and if it doesn't suit to his liking, then he'd just revise it to its entirety. After all, it was all for the greater good of humanity.
Lastly, to satisfy the masses from rebelling, he would enact socialist economic and social policies so that the people's welfare would be greatly improved. To which after he might just become the first red emperor or red king of this world.
No matter what, he has to survive, for it is for the greater good of humanity.
"Hey don't you think you are planning a bit too much?" CP Interrupted Leonardo's line of thought.
Leonardo, meanwhile, looked in confusion, so he asked CP.
"H-How did you know what I was thinking? Shouldn't there be a barrier now, and why was I not alerted?" Leonardo spoke confusedly.
"Well... you were thinking loudly, in other words you were not using the private part of your mind, so I could hear it." CP Stated.
Leonardo smiled downwards and spoke again.
"So... This deal of ours is like a radio? They have different frequencies, like private and public?" Leonardo said.
"Yep! The dumb smithy finally got it! Congrats!" CP stated.
Annoyed by the remarks of CP, Leonardo retorted.
"You know, you could have said it a while ago, and I wouldn't have leaked my plans." Leonardo retorted.
The two of them continued bickering until they finally noticed that the trooper they were on can finally move.
"Woah, I can finally move the Mecha! Now, where is my gun? Time to hunt some ugly bastards! ," Leonardo spoke.
Upon hearing the words of Leonard, Fadel was flabbergasted to the point that he thought Leonardo was possessed by some evil god. However, that does not matter as he is bound by the contract and he cannot betray his royal highness as any act of betrayal would give up his life. Why he was led to believe such things is because, recently, Leonardo started to speak in unknown terms. It was as if he wasn't the same Leonardo as he was serving in the past.
"Your Majesty, I am not sure if the gun you were speaking off, exist in this country, but I fully believe so there are other comparable weapons in here, such as the bow and arrow, a sword, and a magic staff." Fadel, nevertheless spoke.
Upon hearing Fadel speaking about what he just said, Leonardo was embarrassed to the core and was sweating bullets. He almost leaked something important just now. While CP Laughed his ass off about the stupidity of Leonardo.
"Your really have to sort out your thoughts their smithy, you might screw up in the future." CP spoke with concern, albeit still laughing his ass off.
Nevertheless, Leonardo asked CP once again.
"So, what do you think I should choose?" Leonardo said.
"You could choose either the sword or the bow and arrow. I could help you with both, however as your mana is still too low, using the magic staff is equivalent to a death wish." CP Spoke.
Upon hearing the recommendation CP, Leonardo asked for the bow and arrow from Fadel. Just like a while ago, Fadel was utterly confused as the Leonardo he knew was terribly inept with the bow and arrow and was a genius in sword fighting. So he asked for some assurances from Leonardo, to which Leonardo said to trust him. He has a plan.
