Drake stood on the teleportation circle, and the edges of the circle began glowing. Within the next few moments, the circle flashed, and he got teleported out of the mana chamber.
He opened his eyes to find himself in a massive hall. The first thing he noticed was multiple teleportation circles present on the ground.
"Oh, finally."
He heard a sound and looked up to see 20 kids standing around the teleportation circle, staring at him.
He looked at them in confusion when one boy said in frustration, "Dude, come out of the circle fast. We need to go, man."
"Yeah, we are already late."
"Hurry fast."
Many of them started complaining to him. He spotted a man in a brown dress standing behind the group of kids, and with a glance around, he found the other circles were empty. Nobody was present there. He got the gist of it and walked out of the circle.
The moment he joined them, everyone looked at the man in the brown dress.
He glanced at them and said with a smile on his face. "Welcome to Kaiser Academy, everyone. I am one of the staff working at the academy and I will take you to the pre-academy."
After that small intro, the staff wasted no time and started moving. Everyone followed the staff without saying a word and soon they got out of the hall.
Outside, it was completely dark, with the moon hanging above their heads. All of them had their jaw dropped, including Drake. None of them realized that much time passed inside the mana chamber.
The staff did not care and turned to the right, continuing to walk in complete darkness. It was so dark then could not see beyond 2- 3 meters.
Afraid to get left behind, all of them rushed behind the staff.
As they were moving in the darkness, Drake tried to look around, but it didn't help much.
The only thing he could make out was that they were walking on some solid track. The left of the track appeared to be empty ground, while the right side had many shades may be full of trees.
They continued to move, and soon a bunch of them spotted the first source of light.
It was a massive mana lamp next to a big fence gate. They were moving toward the gate.
The interesting thing was that there was nothing before or after this fence gate. It looked like a left-out construction that had appeared out of nowhere, kind of creepy.
The staff didn't give them enough time to register everything, and soon they were a couple of meters away from the gate.
At this moment, the staff stopped and took out a weird pendant from his pocket, flashing it in front of the closed gate.
The pendant shone blue in the yellow lamplight, and with a creaking sound, the fence gate opened, revealing a shocking sight to them.
The world beyond the gate was full of lights. He could see the shapes of multiple buildings shining like stars in the darkness.
But all of that was visible only through the gaps of the open gate. He tried to look to the side of the gate, but it was completely dark.
All of this was fascinating. The staff entered the gate, and the others followed him.
The moment everyone crossed the gate with a creaking sound, the gate closed and then disappeared from their view, leaving an empty track in its place.
This created a commotion among the students, but then they continued to move on the rocky track.
He could see a massive wide building far ahead of them. There was a mesh of multiple small buildings on the left and right sides of the main building, creating an arc of buildings.
The center area of this arc was an empty ground that expanded straight. The track they were walking on was on the leftmost side of that straight ground.
Multiple small lamps were lighting the track. He could see a similar track on the rightmost end of the ground.
There were multiple trees and bushes on the outer side of the tracks. It appeared that a massive forest surrounded everything.
A basic image of the whole ground formed inside his mind.
Kane's voice came, [It's a rectangular empty ground with an arc of buildings on the front end.]
<mm > He nodded.
Soon, they reached the first building on the right side.
The staff stopped outside the building and pointed inside. "The people inside will tell you everything." With that, he walked past the building and soon disappeared from their sight.
All of them looked at each other for a moment and then entered the gray building. They found a big counter table with two ladies in brown dress standing behind the counter.
Both of the ladies said with a smile, "Welcome to Kaiser Academy."
All the students stiffened, not knowing how to reply. One of them just nodded other followed the suite.
This made the 2 ladies laugh. "Hehe, no need to be so stressed, guys."
The one standing on the left said, "I am Inkki, and she is Minky."
Minky said, "We both work for the academy as staff. No need to tense around us."
Though they said the sweet word, nobody was in the mood for that.
One guy asked Inkki, "The first staff told us we will know everything here."
Inkki got serious and nodded. "Yeah, we will tell you everything related to your living conditions."
Minky said on the side, "All of us in the brown dress are part of the staff. If you are facing difficulty in any manual work, you can ask us for assistance."
"Let's start with the important thing." Inkki took out bundles of wooden badges and slammed them on the counter with a poker face.
It made a few students flinch.
Not caring, Minky took out one wooden badge. "I want all of you to place this badge between your hands. This will help us decide which room you will live in and the class you will attend."
I hope you get a clear picture of the academy and more chapters coming for the day. hope u like the chapter.
( I hope u like the slow-end approach and not feeling bored as many interesting things are about to start.)
