The letter

He sat on his parents' bed placing down the clothes, as he unfolded the slip, not knowing what to expect. "This is written by dad!" Marc spoke in surprise as he started to read the letter out loud....

....

Dear Eza,

I don't know, if I shall ever be able to deliver this letter to you. You know how bad I am at expressing my love to you, so I always ending up writing these random letters for you. We always knew this day would come, when we will have to get seperated but as promised, I am happy that only death will do us apart. I am not sure if after this beautiful evening with you, we can spend another lovely time together, so I just want to tell you that you nean the world to me. I am smiling while writing this letter to you on my desk, while you are reading a book on the couch right in front of me, looking absolutely breathtaking. Thabk you for being the kind of wife and friend I had always wanted. You not just gave me the love I have always craved for, but in you I found my family, friend and a soulmate. This might probably my last letter to you, as you also know the time has come to face the danger. If we survive tomorrow's day, I shall hand over this letter to you, otherwise this letter would always be burried in my thoughts. Thank you for being a wonderful mother to our dear Marc, and for making sure he manages to live comfortably without us. I love you Eza, even if death comes upon us tomorrow!

Yours,

James.

Marc kept reading the letter again and again, and could not believe his eyes at all. He was getting one after the other shock of his life and he no longer knew how to react. "They knew they were going to die? They are dead... they are not missing... they are dead." Teats kept flowing down from his eyes, falling on the white paper that Marc had yet been holding, studying his father's words. "But what did they do? What made them choose this risky path? Who were they? Undercover police? Detectives? What were they?" Marc wiped away his tears again and again but they never halted from flowing. "What happened the next day when mother went to the woods? Why did she not return? If she knew she was going to die why did she go there all alone? I am not understanding anything! Oh lord help me!" Marc pinched his nose again in much helplessness. He lied down on his parent's bed not wanting to get up from it. The last time he slept on this bed was seventeen years ago when he would often knock on his parents' room's door and sleep in between them happily.

A seventeen year old soft and royal silk bedsheet was yet spread on the bed, and he was now missing his parents badly much more than he had ever missed them. He kept reading the letter constantly, while lying down and soon his eyes started to droop in much tiredness. In another few minutes, the boy had now already dozzed off in a deep slumber on his parent's bed, after seventeen long years. He slept with a hope that he will get some answers in his sleep but little did he know that his dreams were now about to turn into worse nightmares, because his journey had just begun...
