Grace frowned at Kizo. "What the fuck, Kizo? Why are you here?"
Now she regretted picking up his call this morning; when he said he was coming, she thought he was just bluffing, but here he was.
"Pumpkin, I had to be here for you. You know I can't protect you here as this isn't my territory," he explained, and Grace chuckled.
"Who do you want to protect me against?"
"That mafia boyfriend of yours, of course."
Grace burst out in laughter as this irritated him.
"What's so funny?"
"I get that you are a mafia."
"Not just any kind of mafia; I am a mafia for the people," he corrected her, and she nodded.
"And that's what makes you special; you care for a lot of people... You wouldn't want to hurt someone unless they crossed the line," she said while staring deep into his eyes.
"But that's not the case for Raymond; he is the real deal when it comes to being a mafia."
