Chapter 1Prologue

I sat in the passenger's seat of a car tapping my phone screen, why did my brother have to be so difficult. He could never leave me alone, it was somewhat scary at times.

Big bro: come home now

Me: Leave me alone!

I blocked his number looking out the window. He was insufferable, I pressed a hand to the bruise on my cheek. He'd hit me before, but never in my face. I suppressed the tears in my eyes pressing my hands together.

Suddenly the car spun around twisting and turning. I tried to turn to the taxi driver but my head slammed into the glass window, everything spinning.

It hurt, my entire body hurt. Pain growing through my entire body. My vision started to cloud and I could feel myself going in and out. Was I really going to die?

***

"Oh princess, you're so cute!" I heard a rattling noise as I laid in black darkness. A rattling sound? The last thing I remembered was my head hitting the window. I opened my eyes to see a woman towering over me. "Hello princess!" Her hair was white as snow and her eyes a golden color. How was that possible? She was wearing a maids uniform, and was she calling me princess?

I tried to sit up from my spot up but could barely lift my head. "Oh! Would you like to get up, little princess?" The woman lifted me up, placing me onto the floor in front of a mirror. The room was filled with toys and looked like it was out of a movie.

I looked into the mirror and my eyes widened. I reached my hand out to touch the mirror, the baby in the reflection doing the same. My hands were small and chubby, did I die and get reincarnated? Or maybe i've been reading too many light novels,

This must have been a dream. I had bright blue hair and red eyes, with two small horns growing from my forehead. It was even stranger than the woman. I struggled to turn my head to look at her.

She was smiling warmly as if she were my mommy. "Your so cute princess Ludocielle" she rubbed my back.

Ludocielle? That wasn't my name? But it must be the name of this baby… and this baby was me? I am a baby? A princess? What was going on is apparently clear but I don't think that I could wrap my head around it.

I slapped my face, nothing happening but my cheeks turning red. My body leaned forward and I couldn't stop it. "Oh princess!" The maid caught my shoulders before I could fall. She picked me up grabbing one of those shaky toys from the dresser.

"Hello Tuli, I'm here to see my baby sister!" a young boy with dirty blonde hair and small horns growing from his head came into the room. He had on a fine outfit and his hair was in a ponytail.

The maid giggled gently putting me in his arms "be careful". Was this boy meant to be my brother?

Wait wait, she can't give me to this kid! What if he drops me? I'll die all over again! I squirmed trying to grab onto the maids' clothes. Maybe if I cried she wouldn't give me up. My eyes watered and I screamed as loud as I could.

"... what did I do! Tuli, why is she crying?" the boy's eyes started to water.

The maid patted the boy's shoulder, almost laughing at the pitiful sight. Two siblings crying over nothing "it's okay prince Husk, i'll take care of it". She smiled, taking me over her shoulder.

How was I supposed to live like this? I had just turned 19 a week away from getting out of my brother's house. Now I'm a baby! I'll never live this down.

But he was not alone. “Your Grace,” Soleia said, trying her best to maintain a calm tone, “welcome home. How were your travels?” The man remained silent as he stared at her. “Oh,” the woman that Soleia's husband had brought back said. “I was just wondering where the servants were. No one has come to greet you since your return. Could you please help us bring―” Orion tugged the woman back, protectively holding her in his embrace. His eyebrows furrowed as he glared at Soleia, his sudden action causing the woman to look confused at him. “Orion?” she asked, her hands on his chest to steady herself. “What’s the matter?” “That’s not a servant." In one swift motion, he threw the sword out at Soleia, only to be stopped by a flash of scarlet and the coppery scent of blood. *** Prequel to Stolen by the Rebel King.

Hellbound Heart

[WARNING: MATURE CONTENT] - Izabelle had underestimated the fire she thought she was going to play with tonight. But how could she ever have foreseen that the man she had happened to come across with does not play with just a small fire, but a whole inferno? ___ Excerpt: "You going through this marriage with me might as well be like you digging your own grave. Because the moment you start to want more from me, I will divorce you. And the moment you break your promise and try to fight me… I will ruin you and break you apart completely. Mercilessly. You will regret ever meeting this devil tonight." His threat was given in the same soft but cold voice. But Elle did not even flinch. Her gaze never faltered either. This man was ruthless, and she knew that clearly. His eyes that moment promised nightmares and darkness without any promise of respite. But no matter what he says now, it would still not change her decision. She truly had no other choice. "I understand now…" she said quietly, steeling herself. "Since you don't trust that I will keep my word, how about we do this? You prepare the divorce documents beforehand now and I'll sign it. That way, once you decide to divorce me in the future, the papers would already have been signed and there would be no way I can trouble you about it. You would just need to send it to the lawyers and have it notarized." A heavy silence reigned before his quiet disbelieving laugh broke the silence. "I'm at a loss for words, Princess Izabelle." He looked wickedly amused. But then he started nodding in approval. "Fine, princess. I will marry you." ___ Instagram account: kazzenlx.x facebook page: author_kazzenlx Discord server: https://discord.gg/UGTA3A4 Cover is mine so don't use it. Cast away by her own blood, it was her destiny to rot in a gilded cage. But, that fateful day changed everything. Gifted a second chance at life, a chance to turn her life around and claim vengeance against her family, a chance to dive deep into the Abyss and gain the power to govern her own fate, Alice took his hand, unaware of the destiny unfolding before her. Discord: https://discord.gg/vrdTSkj8Va Author Notes: This is my third book, going to take what I learned from before to improve. This book will be focusing on plot, action, depths of character bonds and overall a darker tone/take on this cruel fantasy world I've cooked up for this book! If you give this book a try, I hope you enjoy! A very different experience and tone to Nanomancer Reborn.
