Chapter 1

`Another boring day´

Malum thought to himself while sitting in class. He was a second year in high school, but this year felt especially boring for him. He was looking outside the window watching the birds flying in the sky not paying attention to class. It went for minutes when Malum suddenly felt a dangerous aura he looked from where it came however right when he looked where it came a cradle hit his forehead kicking Malum on the ground.

"Argh" Malum rubbed his forehead his forehead was bleeding.

Malum was looking down at the ground he felt the blood flowing down to his nose with was not the end of the bad luck. He heard someone footsteps and all his classmates were only sitting so and there was only one who would be standing right now.

"Stand up Malum"

"YES MRS.PROFESSOR MYREL".

Malum shouted out standing up fast straight looking at his professor. Myrel was looking down at Malum as she was two heads bigger than him. Malum saw the tail of his professor looking up to her he could see her having her horns out too. She crossed her arms angry flames were visible under her high heels and she started to nag.

"I told you many times already I do not care if you have no interest in history class but when I am in, I want everyone to pay attention and with everyone you are also included you know that right"

She was tapping on the wooden floor with her eyes glaring at Malum she could make a hole at Malum.

"Please forgive me Mrs. Myrel"

Malum asked nicely but Myrel would not let go of him.

"Not this time I was too nice for you so explain what the 'new era' is"

She sat on top of a student table with the student blushing. Malum looked around to his classmates some were demons like Myrel while others were elves, orcs, or just humans but not normal humans themself. Malum swallowed his spit and looked at his history professor

"The 'new era' was the time when earth synchronized with other worlds it happened multiple millenniums ago at the year 2020. After the synchronization earth and all the other worlds that had also existed became one increasing the size of earth and the other worlds combined 430 times which is how all the races are all currently able to live on the same planet"

Malum took a breath as he had spoken in a fast but still understandable.

"After that moment the energy called mana and QI spread all around this planet which name got changed to 'Xaver' which is in ancient language meaning 'multiple words' as mana and QI spread around magicians and cultivators appeared not only with humans who had no powers but also at different species like a main example being elves and dwarfs both there seems to be infinity amount of these two energies after the synchronization happened which is why many species came together to study the cause of that and the how that there seem to be limitless supply of mana and QI"

He started to hear clapping sounds it was one of his classmates clapping his hands for Malum and other students started to do the same thing. Myrel sighed and clapped because of Myrel also clapping Malum started to feel embarrassed even though it already was embarrassing when he heard one classmate clapping for him. The school bell rang, and Myrel let all students come out with Malum running out first out from the class.

He was running to the roof top passing through other students he ran up the stairs and opened the door of the roof top. A teenage boy and girl around the same age as Malum had waited for him.

"Your finally here!" The girl said it enthusiastically.

"You did let us wait a long time" The boy said in a tired tone with visible dark circles beneath his eyes.

"Sorry guys!" Malum clapped his hands and bowing too to show he was sorry for it. The boy surrounded his arms around Malum neck capturing him like that

"How often did we tell you not to apologize like that man we are friends not your boss" he yawned after saying these words.

"Come out let him go Otiosum" The girl said annoyed and started to emit a strong aura making Otiosum flinch and letting go of Malum

"Come on relax" he held his arms up and was laughing slightly.

"Ira please calm down" Malum also holding his hands up.

She slowly started to let the aura disappear and sighed.

"Now that you are here let's talk till the next lesson starts" she sat down on the ground and looked at the other two telling them to also sit down. The two sat down fast making Ira smile happily.
