Bastard!

2 months later, there is a week left until the freshman's first re-ranking and things are getting tense. The Void's Owl have become the favourites to win the competition as all the new blood that joined them created a terrifying line up. For example Kane Oizys was part of the Heaven Technology classes, he wasn't rank 1 but he was still a genius.

Another rising star in the guild was Egor Vullvat, he was only in the mortal Alchemist class, however his insane determination and willpower has earned him the respect of the guild. It's very surprising seeing his herculean titan body work with delicate herbs. His slender fingers fiddling with the plants created a huge contrast with his 2.25 metres, muscly physique.

There are also others. In these 2 months the guild members have become familiar with each other, creating a permanent joyful atmosphere in the guild. The original seven have become very popular, especially Awa, her gentle and fairy like personality has conquered everyone, her and Samael have gotten really close as well, since Sami's was the first one to meet her.

Feng Yutu's energetic nature always livens up the guild, Acala's handsome demeanour has gained him many male and female fans, making Yutu'er and Xiao Ying quite jealous :0. Thorus also gained a lot of followers his creations have become very helpful for the guild, he is almost always forging, customizing the guild members automatons.

The final member of the trio from Vajra Peak, Xiao Ying has become popular due to her excellent logistic skills and how well she does as the deputy guild master.

Alice has a similar reason for her fame, she has become an inspirational figure to the members and she treats all the members kindly, she is the same as her mother protective and caring. Alice really does deserve the name of Morrigan a protector and guardian to her subjects/allies, however a fearsome tyrant to her enemies.

And Samael's chef skills is what gained him his popularity in the guild his most avid followers are Long Ke Ai and Eos, the two foodies can even over look their differences when Sami is cooking. Also the two have become less aggressive towards each other, this may be because of what Acala told them at the guild opening or the may actually not mind each other now.

In the main square...

Awa, Sami and Egor were walking towards the guild, but were stopped by a group of people. What looked like the leader of said group stepped forward and looked at Egor, "Oh it's you, the trash that we rejected from Brahma Valley."

The man who spoke had a haughty expression on his face, he had long black hair and was of Chinese descent, he had soft and feminine features but a vicious temperament, his eyes were filled with arrogance and it seemed that he looked down on everyone. He was wearing very pretentious clothing and was covered in jewellery.

The man finally looked at Awa and Sami, his eyes lingered on the petite elf, "My name is Han Moxie, the rank 1 Alchemist and leader of Brahma Valley, may I know your name, beauty."

She already felt disgusted by Han Moxie's rude action but her kind nature made her reply, "My name is Awa."

"Hey, how dare you act so high and mighty towards, to our great leader!" a young girl stepped out from the crowd she had red hair and was a normal human. She looked quite average for cultivator, but her body was insane.

Slap! "Who told you to speak?!" Han Moxie smacked the female across the face, his eyes narrowing as her glared at the young girl.

"S..sorry leader." she said, a bright red palm print quickly appeared on her visage and she hastily walked back into the crowd holding her sore face. The girl stared furiously at Awa pinning all her resentment on the elf.

"Haha, sorry about that Miss Awa, do you want to have a chat some time." Han Moxie said smiling towards the elf as if nothing happened.

Awa looked at Sami for help, she felt quite overwhelmed," Eh no, no thank you."

The Brahma Valley guild leader's expression turned vicious, he saw Awa's glance at Sami and knew this was a lost cause, so he simply grinned and walked away. When the Brahma Valley guild left, the three friends felt pain in their bodies.

Awa directly, fainted. Egor collapsed to his knees and Sami stayed standing simply gritting his teeth.

The Titan gasped and said through long breaths, "Poison!"

Samael realised this also and quickly ran the Swallowing Heaven Technique, devouring the poison in his body. The two pseudo-Red giants quickly absorbed the colourless poison. The Stars were steadily increasing in size almost reaching a bottleneck. The dazzling blue was fading into a lava like red.

Egor as the selfless person he is tried to help Awa first by feeding her with a detox pill. The elf swallowed the medicine however her body began reacting violently it seemed that the poison Han Moxie used was quite unusual. Egor looked extremely confused, he quickly bit his finger and tasted his blood.

"Fuck, it's the Forsaken scorpion's poison, it can absorb detoxification medicines and strengthen itself with it, the only way to remove it is to extract it from the body but I left my equipment in my residence."

"It's not even that dangerous but because of Awa's small physique it entered her bloodstream quicker. If I had the equipment it would just take a few seconds to remove, but how did that bastard make it colourless and gaseous, the poison of the forsaken scorpion is a bright blue liquid and has a blatant sour lemon smell.

Fuck, fuck, fuck why didn't I check what the poison was before I acted, I'm so stupid!" The Titan began to cry, he blamed himself for what just happened and began punching into the ground, small craters were forming all around him.

"Damn it, I need to hurry home." Egor hastily grabbed Awa and was about to start sprinting away.

"Wait!" Sami, had finished devouring the poison that entered his body, he had heard what Egor was saying and gently put his hand on Awa's stomach. He had to focus, his control was working at 110% right now as he had never used the powers of his physique on any else before and if he messes up it may cause even more injuries to Awa.

Sweat began to run down his forehead and drip onto the floor, his expression was serious and the atmosphere was tense. Egor was biting his nails, he could feel his heart beat restlessly if any more damage happened to Awa he would blame himself forever.

Samael's energy diffused into Awa's body, he guided it around her bloodstream trying his best to remove the poison, it was very difficult but because he had absorbed the one in his body first he could detect it more easily.

The last slither of poison was removed and Sami could finally relax, it was now Egor's turn. This time it was simple, he had already done it before and since Egor knew what the poison was, he was able to direct towards Samael's energy.

After absorbing all the poison from Egor, Samael sat in a lotus position (meditation pose) and fed all the poison to the two stars in his dantian. The stars had almost lost all of their blue but they were lacking the volume a red giant required.

(Technically to get a black hole/ Neutron star, a star would need to be a red supergiant straight after main sequence star, however I am going to make so it goes from Red giant to Red supergiant. This is not scientific I know but I need something for each realm.)

Seeing Samael get up, Egor scrambled to a kneeling position, "I'm sorry, I really am sorry, I almost caused Awa to get even more hurt." the titan bawled.

Sami looked towards Egor disappointed and punched him, "Why the fuck are you apologising, your acting like you poisoned us, why is your first thought to apologise but not to get revenge. If you don't strengthen your resolve, if you don't become tougher our guild is not for you." he berated.

Samael turned around and walked away carrying Awa in his arms. Egor gazed at Sami's back and clenched his fist, Samael's word rang in his head, 'Why am I so weak!?, My friend just got hurt but I did nothing.'

"DAMN IT!" the titan screamed as he smashed his head onto the floor giving a kowtow in Samael's direction.

The chef of The Void's Owl continued walking, he thought about what happened today and his expression darkened, 'How dare that BASTARD!'

He recalled the promise he made, 'He said he would not allow anyone to harm the people he cares for. But look at what happened today, someone got hurt on his watch'

Sami opened his mouth and whispered in the air, "One week left then your dead, during this re-ranking I will destroy the Brahma Valley."

Info of the day - Verus and where Aura came from

The world is called VERUS and it's the shape of an egg, it is also 100 times bigger than earth.

There is 'space' in a sense but space is actually the barrier between the world and the abyss. Space protects the planet however the abyss is attacking the barrier trying to reach the world. In space there's obviously the sun and some stars but no other planets no other life except In the abyss.

Aura comes from the 'core' of Verus. Aura also comes from the 'core' of the abyss. Scholars (scientists), have figured this out due to the high aura concentration in areas with geysers or volcanoes. These places lead to the 'core' of the world so it signals that aura is from there.

Scientist have also found out that when people die the Aura they had is decomposed and recycled creating a perfect loop. Furthermore when the average cultivator reaches around the True Immortal realm they create some of their own aura, part of this aura is given to the core of the world increasing aura abundance.

Some geniuses can create their own aura as early as Transcendence for example Sami with his stars in his dantian.

Verus is Semi-Sentient however it is less intelligent than the abyss and can only do instinctive actions such as the aforementioned, recycling aura. The Abyss on the other hand can pretty much communicate with it's people, create life and even take away life.
