Synopsis: In the secluded village of Rosaline, nestled within the ancient Whispering Woods, a young herbalist named Elena discovers an extraordinary artifact—the Crimson Heart. This mystical gem, shattered into shards, holds the power to restore balance to a world teetering on the edge of darkness. As Elena embarks on a perilous quest to reunite the Heart, she forms an unlikely alliance with outcasts—a blacksmith, a bard, and a seer—each harboring secrets and scars. Together, they journey through treacherous forests, face spectral guardians, and unravel the forgotten history of the Ancients who once wielded the Heart's magic. The Heart's whispers guide them, revealing tales of heroism, betrayal, and sacrifice. As the shards come together, the Shadow—an ancient malevolence—awakens, threatening to plunge Rosaline into eternal night. Elena and her companions must confront their pasts, forge unbreakable bonds, and stand against the encroaching darkness. In the heart-pounding climax, the convergence of fate and will unfolds. The villagers of Rosaline, united by the Heart, face the ultimate reckoning. The battle blazes beneath starlit skies, and the Heart's power ignites—a beacon of hope against the Shadow's wrath. But victory comes at a cost. Elena, now the keeper of their legacy, must return the Heart to its resting place. Rosaline flourishes, and the Heart's whispers become a tale of bravery, a legend that echoes through time. "The Whispers of a Crimson Heart" weaves magic, sacrifice, and unity into an unforgettable saga—a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring power of hope. Note: The story description is a fictional summary of the epic fantasy tale. Any resemblance to existing works is coincidental.

A Warlock in Danmachi

This is a crossover between Danmachi and Dungeons & Dragons Update Warning: This will not be updated regularly. My job doesn’t give me reliable access to the internet. On top of that I tend to take my time with writing. The first chapter of this took me at least 40 hours of writing and rewriting to get it to a place I was happy with, just to give an example. Obligatory I own nothing. Detailed Synopsis: *Spoilers, Kinda* As I stated above, this is a crossover between Danmachi and Dungeons & Dragons. Following a shift in the planes of existence the world of Vestothas is merged with Gekai, bringing all of its monster demons and horrors with it. Most of the gods of Vestothas have disappeared, either destroyed by, or hiding from whatever force caused this event. Those that remain aren't exactly friendly faces. Our protagonist, an elf warlock by the name of Farren, is flung head first into the dungeon after his home continent of Slinnelyn became ground zero for this event. The setting for the D&D side is mostly homebrew, using the rulebooks as references. What rulebooks? Mostly 5th edition and Pathfinder, though I do have books going back to 1st edition AD&D that I might use if newer info and stat blocks don’t exist. So if there were characters or locations you wanted to see in the Forgotten Realms, Ebberon, Ravenloft, ect. you probably aren’t going to see it here. I say ‘probably’ because spelljammer tomfoolery is an option. Though one I don’t plan on doing anything with for the foreseeable future. One final thing I’m going to touch on here is magic in D&D. For magic I’m going to be changing things up a little bit. Spell slots, on the tabletop, are a convenient and balanced rule. In writing they never made much sense to me. For the purpose of this book I’m going to be using a less rigid spell system. If you want more information I’ll write a Vol 0 chapter on it. For here all you need to know is that it won’t be too different from the tabletop system, but different enough that spell casters can do things that they normally wouldn’t be able to on the tabletop.

The Moon That Embraces the Sun

The Queen Mother orders the assassination of her stepson to protect her own son's ability to become king. Ari, a shaman of the Royal Star Mansion (Royal Astrology House), witnesses the murder. The pregnant wife of the palace's Chief Scholar helps her escape, and Ari vows to protect her unborn child, who has a "noble fate." Ari is arrested, tortured, and imprisoned. She tells her friend and fellow shaman, Jang Nok-yeong, to look after the unborn child in her stead. Ari is declared guilty of treason and killed. Yeon-woo, the unborn child Ari swore to protect, and Crown Prince Lee Hwon fall in love. Prince Yang Myung, the Crown Prince's half-brother, has also fallen in love with Yeon-woo, who does not reciprocate his feelings. The Queen Mother seeks to promote Bo-kyung, the daughter of the Prime Minister and her blood relative, to be the Crown Princess in order to maintain her clan's power. However, the king is impressed by Yeon-Woo's intelligence and chooses her over Bo-Kyung, infuriating the Queen Mother and Prime Minister Yoon. The Queen Mother secretly orders Nok-yeong to cast a deadly curse on Yeon-woo so that Bo-kyung can take her place. Yeon-woo is diagnosed with an unidentifiable illness, expelled from the palace, and loses her title as Crown Princess. She "dies" from this illness and is buried. Nok-yeong digs Yeon-woo out of the grave; the spell is temporary and only mimics the appearance of death. However, Yeon-woo is so traumatized by being buried alive that she has lost all of her memories. She and Nok-yeong leave the capital. Crown Prince Lee Hwon is unwillingly married to Bo-kyung. He refuses to consummate the marriage by citing an unnamed illness; he broods over his "dead" first love, Yeon-woo. Eight years later, Lee Hwon is now king. Yeon-woo is now Shaman Wol (which means "moon"); unaware of Wol's true identity, the Queen Mother calls her to the palace so that she can cure the king's "illness." The king is struck by Wol's unmistakeable resemblance to Yeon-woo, and he quietly launches an investigation into Yeon-woo's death. Meanwhile, Wol struggles to understand the strange memories of her life as Yeon-woo, which she interprets as shamanic visions. Wol must fight Queen Bo-Kyung, the Queen Mother, and Prime Minister Yoon in order to reclaim her rightful place as the Queen of Joseon. Political intrigue continues to build and comes shockingly to a head as King Lee Hwon fights for his throne, fights for the woman he loves, and fights for his very life.
