chapter 130

"What're you gonna do with all this stuff?"

He looked up from his computer screen to see Jensen walking in, and was momentarily taken aback at the sight of him. His mother looked a mess as she had just returned from her night duty at a certain hospital where she worked as a doctor, overly exploited one if I mht add. Her short hair was sticking out in various directions, probably from having been pulled out by whatever emergency she had been called upon for tonight. In short: she looked like shit. And yet here he was, wearing an oversized t shirt that read 'I am Not the One', jeans and Converse sneakers. His hands were stuffed into the pockets of his worn down coat, but his expression was not unreadable, just curious.

It took him a second or two before he realized what he meant. He'd said all of that out loud.

"This is my dad's old stuff." He told him, pointing to the box he was standing next to.

"Ah, right."
