" I'm heading out now , here's the money for the bill alright?...see you later." and Kyle was off. Didi struggled to keep her tears in as she sat alone in the restaurant..watching the door oscillations before it finally shut.

"stupid alarm.." Didi muttered to herself hitting the off button on the alarm and yawning.

"I hate Mondays", after that encouraging pep talk to herself , she slowly rolled to the other side of her bed too lazy to get up and open her eyes.

She felt a bit around for her flip flops before groaning and opening her eyes when she didn't feel them.

Today was going to be the first day of uni for her , but unlike other students who lived near the campus or on campus in the dorms offered by the school she lived very far..why you might ask?,well that's simple for one it is cheaper and two....who was she kidding she was broke.

Not poor but broke. Plus she couldn't bring herself to ask from her parents ,as they were also struggling from their own end.

For those who didn't know any better ,the first disadvantage from living far.

one; You wake up earlier than all your mates and head to school first...to bearly reach on time.

Why not wake up earlier you might ask?..

simple, no..nada...non...nitch..not a chance she had given away most of her sleep , she wasn't losing any more minute.

two; it sucked.

three; it really sucks.

four; she can't be closer to her boyfriend like she wished to be and she can't watch that four eye , boyfriend stealing , preppy best friend of his!...but..but.....she was calm about the whole situation.

Add that to the writing gigs she got here and there and she always got a plateful. She majors in Applied Physics and is already in her last year of the course.

After completing all her morning routines, she tamed her unruly hair into a bun while going through her clothes and finally deciding on a pair of slim jeans ,a small tee and a jacket.

Yes. she was a geek ...but the...non-awkward kind you know?

Now off to class.

Glancing at her watch she could tell she was already going to be 20minutes late..
