She stood upright immediately and swallowed hard at thought that he might use this chance to kiss her again.

Canary chuckled and got up to go to one of the books from the shelf.

" Don't worry, I will not kiss you again." He said as he picked one of the books from the shelf.

Lisa couldn't believe his words. Instead of apologizing he was saying this.

He came back with the book and put it for her on the desk.

" Get time and read through that, it might be of help." He said.

She picked the book and turned to go when he disrupted her again.

" You are forgetting something." He said and picked the paper she had left then walked over to her.

" What is it ?" Lisa asked amd begun flinching backwards immediately on seeing him walk towards her.

Canary shook his head and stopped walking.

" It's here.." He said and gave her the paper keeping a distance from her.

She stretched her arm to pick the paper but before she could take it from his hands he asked.

" Why are you trying hard to avoid me ?"

" Who said so ?" Lisa questioned and pulled the paper away from him.

" I am sorry if my previous actions affected you somehow." He declared.

Lisa didn't say a word at this.
