The Mana System Of The Apocalypse

Gods out looking for entertainment decide to have what they called Universal Supremacy. This is my story of how I became the new God. Like any other day or like no other everyone on the planet all heard the voice claiming to be our creator all at the same time. "Mortals your progress is too slow for me and we am running out of time. So to speed things up, I will be releasing mana to your galaxy. Grow strong and grow fast so that you may one day fight for supremacy and rule by my side." And that my dear readers is how I started my journey to becoming the new God.

Monkey Wars

The flame tiger recovers about 70% of its strength after 30 minutes, so we continue our trip through the Atlanta Jungle. Joe wastes no time hopping on the tiger's back as he rides through the forest, bouncing from tree to tree. Feeling the urge to compete, Crystal wants me to get on her back to do the same. It didn't take long before all you see is flashes of lightning with Michelle and me on her back followed by bursts of flames with Joe on its back.

We shuttle through the jungle at faster speeds, during which Sakura spots two kinds of plants that are on the verge of gaining intelligence. I had her move them into the space pendant so that they could develop there. One looks like a small red flower with seven petals on its stem. It grew in the only spot where the sunlight was peeking through the top of the trees. The other was a 20-foot tree growing some fruit on it. The leaves had a hint of purple to them, and they are sharp enough to cut through our skin on touch. The fruits are all still green, but according to Sakura, they will be of great help to us when they ripen. The only downside is that it only grows three fruits at a time.

Halfway through the jungle, we ran into a barrel of monkeys. There were almost 100 of them, and they circled above us, screeching none stop. That was when a six-foot-tall monkey came out and looked down on us as if it was a king. The next thing we heard surprised the hell out of us because this big a** monkey spoke, and it was in English.

"Humans leave my territory at once, or this is where you will stay forever."

"Bro, this monkey is pissing me off with the way it's looking down on us and talking like it owns this jungle."

"Joe is right, Dwayne, even I'm upset at the way it's talking and that it has its penis just hanging over my head."

"That's why you are upset because of its d**k? I can't say that I'm not pissed too. It talks pretty well, too, but I will be the only king."

"Bro, your ego is showing again. Hahaha"

"Let's get rid of these monkeys and leave the big guy to me because I don't take threats lightly."

"Crystal and Sakura protect Michelle. Joe and Blaze, the new name of his tiger, go wild and kill them all."

"Hey, the big monkey, you have crossed my line with your threat, so be prepared for war."

"Silly human, you chose death over retreat its all the same to me, and my name is not a big monkey. It's SAM!"

"Bro, I think you hit a nerve calling him a big monkey. Hahaha"

"Whatever, let's go and make this quick all the other monkeys are below level eight. It's just the big guy that has evolved, and it just did at that."

"Inspect"

Name: Jungle Primate (Sam)

Lvl: 11

Breed: Ape

Hp: 500

Mp: 500

I was looking up at the monkey and a new idea slowly formed in my mind.

"Guys scratch that, only keep ten alive and if they have a rare elemental affinity."

"I knew you would want to keep the monkey."

Sam was all black with a touch of silver on his head. It stood up straight and tall with a deadly gaze in its eyes. The muscles on its body were firm, and I could tell that it had more strength than me. The pupils of its eyes were also a silver color giving it a nice look to go with its hair.

"Time - Speedsuit"

"blink"

I appear right in front of Sam and punches toward his head with all my strength, only to see a slight smile form on its ugly face. The next thing I knew, I was falling straight down to the ground, and the gravity weighting on me tripled. Sam jumps out of the tree, pounds his fist in my chest, and sends some flying into the ground, creating a vast crater.

Blood was coming slowly out the corner of my mouth as I looked out the crater at Sam, who was smiling at me.

"Ok, I see you want to do this the hard way then."

"Space - Shackle"

Unprepared for my next move, Sam's left leg was caught, and I appeared right behind. Sending him straight into the same crater I came out of. Looking down at Sam, I repeated the same thing.

"Submit to me."

"Never"

Sam slowly floats out of the crater and becomes eye level with me. He had a savage look on his face and was ready to go all out. He was so angry right now that his kingly demeanor was no more.

I blink above his head while using space shackles on both his legs as I drop my heel on his head. Sam lets out a savage roar as he falls back into the crater, but this time he cant get back out. Because as soon as he hits the floor, I once again shackle him down. Blinking right on top of him, I start to rain punches in his face.

Having enough of my beating, Sam lets out a burst of gravity that sends me flying through the air before I blink to a nearby tree branch. Sam raps himself in gravity element and flies towards me at blinding speeds.

"Oh, you want to compete with me in speed?"

I push more of my mana into my speed suit as I take off towards Sam at the same speed. As soon as I was close enough, I blinked behind him again, shackling his neck and arms while I continued to fly towards his head with my knee out.

Bang

This time I hold him in place while I wail on the back of his skull. Sam was roaring out in pain, but I continued to beat him. Seeing him try to use the strength in his feet to break my shackles, I shackle his feet too. With five restraints and my speed suit running simultaneously, I noticed that my mana was dwindling at an alarming rate.

I jumped on top of Sam again and was punching the living hell out of him. Even when he was saying that he gave up, I continued because I could still see the gleam of rebellion in his eyes. After 15 minutes of beating, the spark in his eyes finally disappeared, and I stopped the beating.

"Submit to me."

"I surrender; just stop the hitting."

"Tame"

I looked around and found that most of the monkeys were dead except for the 10 I asked them to save.

"Any good ones among them."

"Yea, they had some interesting elements. Two fire, two water, two wind, one earth, one shadow, one plant, and one sound."

"These are a good mixture of elements. Good job, guys. Did anyone level up in the process?"

"Bro, Blaze and I gained one level each."

"Dwayne, I gain three levels, and I'm almost at the rank up a level."

"Master Sakura and I both gained one level as well."

"It seems that everyone is catching up to me."

"Sam, control the rest of your barrel and let me see if I can take them into my space pendant without taming them."

"Ok, Master"

"Release them, Michelle."

With a wave of my hand, I sent Sam and the monkeys into the independent space. The ice that was holding them in place began to thaw out at speed visible to the naked eye. As soon as the monkeys were released, they lined up in front of Sam, awaiting their new orders. I didn't think it would work, so I asked my system why it did.

"Host because they have complete loyalty to Sam they, therefore, have complete loyalty to you. It is the same with Joe's tiger."

I pull Sam back out and ask him and Sakura to uproot a big part of these trees that they live in to put them into my space pendant. After that was done, I sent Sam and Sakura back into the space to replant the trees and to make a home for the monkeys. Sakura also has to tell them what they can and cannot do while they are in there.

With that done, Joe, Michelle, Crystal, Blaze, and I continue on our expedition through the jungle.
