"Hey!! Hey!! Welcome to my emotional support book. It is a work in process and my first attempt at writing.

I have broken bigger chapters into parts, so please don't mind the mess. :D toodles,

The maids bustled around the young woman that sat so still, but her foot tapped in a steady rhythm. "Will you stop that!" One of the maids snapped.

"But we have been here for hours." She groaned. "Yes, and we will be here another if you keep up that incessant tapping!" The young woman sighed.

The door of the dressing room opened, making the woman turn her head to a grunt of dismay from the maid working on her hair. "Lacey! You have got to hurry!" The young woman's sister entered, her hair in the most elaborate style of ringlets and curls that bounced as she moved.

Lacey sighed again, stopping her foot that had already started to tap again. "Angela." A sweet voice called, as the door opened wider and a tall slender young woman with hair dark as night and straight as a rod walked in, her baby pink silk skirts swishing around her as she came to a stop beside Angela in the doorway.

"Lacey, we are waiting for you to start the party." The maid sighed. "We are almost done here."

A few minutes later they walked down the hall towards the ball room. The doors were pushed open, they were greeted with cheers and applause, before they were crowded by girls and women wishing Lacey a happy birthday.

The musicians started the music and the lights dimmed and the party started. Angela left Lacey and her friend to go meet her own friends. Lacey and Mia shared a smile before racing to the buffet table covered in well placed small snacks and treats.

They shared smiles as they stuffed their face in the most graceful way they could manage, laughing and giggling softly at the lady's dresses and anything that caught their attention.

"Mia." Came a sticky sweet drawl from a slender young woman with bleached blond hair that came to her shoulders. She sauntered over to them. Lacey caught the eye roll Mia made at her before placing a smile on her face and greeting her back.

"Annabelle!... How lovely to see you. I didn't expect you to be here." Annabelle smiled an annoying smile. "Of course, I'm here, I couldn't miss the princess's birthday!" She said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

She did not even turn to glance at Lacey as she spoke. "I do not believe you came here for her. I could think of other reasons that you are here." Annabelle's face went red, which contrasted with her face paint.

She spun on her heel grabbing a glass off the table, Lacey only had a second to step in front of Mia as Annabelle flung the glasses contents over her. She gasped from the cold liquid as it ran down her face dripping onto her white dress, the blue color of the drink seeping into the fabric.

Everyone one turned to the scene of their dripping wet princess. Lacey was feeling smug as she watched Annabelle sputtered an explanation to her mother as she came over to see what had happened.

She smiled at Mia who did not look pleased at all. Annabelle was escorted from the room by the Queen's orders then she turned to Lacey. "Let us get you changed your father will be coming soon."

The sparkling lights and soft sound of music floated through the room. Lacey looked up at the ball room ceiling and sighed. "This room is more beautiful than ever, don't you think?" Mia said in aw.

She looked at her childhood friend and smiled. "I am so excited, this is so wonderful. I would never have guessed all of this would be done for me. Mother has outdone herself." She giggled, Mia laughed.

"You are turning sixteen today Lacey, of course your mother would want it to look extra special just for this day."

Lacey smiled and hugged her friend. "Uh, I feel like I am in a dream." Just then the door opened, and her father came in holding a box and looking around the room.

He was a tall well-built man, his features weathered from his many years on the seas.

When he saw her, he walked to them, "There you are my dear, look at how you have grown, you have blossomed into such a beautiful young lady." He bent down and kissed her on her cheek. "Here my daughter." He said handing over the box he held.

"I know that I have not been here for most of your past birthdays, but I hope you will love this gift and take good care of it. Happy Birthday my dear Lacey."

Lacey looked at the box he was handing her and then at him. Yes, he had been gone for most of her birthdays because he was always on his ships going on adventures.

She took the box carefully from him and looked up and smiled at her father. "Thank you." She jumped up and hugged him. She loved him.

She loved her whole family. She stepped back and giggled at her father. "Thank you." She said again. Her father smiled. Mia laughed beside her. "Open it." Everyone in the room was looking at them.

Her mother came up beside her father. "What's this?" She inquired, smiling. "A gift." Her Father informed his wife. Her sister across the room came running to see what was going on but was stopped by her mother's voice. "Don't run Angela!" Her mother said.

Mia giggled and Angela stopped and walked the rest of the way over to them. Lacey slowly opened the box.

In the box was a fine blue fabric, she gently pulled it up, the box falling to the ground. The dress was full and long.

The many layers of sleek blue fabric fell touching the floor. "Wow!" Was the breath that came out of all the people in the room that could see it.

Angela slowly put her hand out to touch it. Mia caught her hand and hissed. "Don't. touch. it." With a sigh Lacey looked back up to her father

"Where did you get it?" Her father smiled. "It was not easy, and it is a long story, but to make it short I got it from an old lady I met on my last trip to the islands far north." Lacey looked at the dress again. It shined and shimmered as she looked at it. It was almost as if it was alive.

Two times rejected Luna, the desire of all Alphas

Valerie, the daughter of the murdered Alpha of the Yellow Stone Pack, could never lead the pack because she had a Luna wolf. Her mate, Tristan, was made the Alpha in her stead. After assuming the title of Alpha, Valerie was set up and brutally rejected, not only by Tristan but also her whole pack, and her kid sister, Scarlet, with whom Tristan had secret affairs. “I reject Luna Valerie as my mate. She was caught in bed with a stranger, meaning that she would sell the pack out. The punishment for treachery is death,” Alpha Tristan announced heartlessly. The chants from the pack members and visiting Alphas who had come for the Alphas' conference attracted them to the judgment. No one thought that Alpha Denzel, whose name caused the hairs on their skin to stand straight due to his ruthlessness, would make it to the conference. Valerie found hope when she realized that Alpha Denzel was her second chance mate, but painstakingly, she was rejected once again. The double rejection caused her to lose her wolf, and she was condemned to die by all the Alphas present. She thought her fate was sealed when Alpha Denzel left and a warrior was ready to execute her. Everyone was shocked when Alpha Denzel suddenly turned around. “Stop! The treacherous daughter of a late Alpha should not be killed. More suffering awaits her,” he declared. Valerie’s heart dropped when she saw his dark look, which was like a bottomless pit, as she blacked out from exhaustion. A few months down the line, there was a war among the Alphas as they began to lay claim to the two-times-rejected Luna. With her wolf dead, will the moon goddess be gracious to give her another wolf? And which Alpha would be able to melt her now cold heart?

Rather, instead of freedom, what this little missy wanted was money. Lots and lots of them so she never has to worry about the next day. It was this gift he had bestowed on her that made her the most powerful Awakened there was with stats that even S-class awakeneds couldn't compare to. She was the boss, now. Mwa-hahahahaha. But life didn't go as easy and leisurely as she planned. With great power comes great responsibility, right? Well, in her case with great power comes great hunger. She couldn't go a moment without getting hungry and her stomach had become a bottomless pit. And to get food, she needed money, and to get money, she had to hunt monsters. The monsters plagued humanity, causing catastrophes and taking lives mercilessly. Those monsters, as scary as they may be, were her target and she had to face them head-on. The bigger the monsters the more money she would gain. Yeah, that was the plan, but... This guy acting as her system seemed to have other plans, putting her at the forefront of 'justice' and having her clean the mess he somewhat created. Was it you that night?

On the eve of their wedding, Yan Changsheng brought back a girl and publicly called off the marriage. Only then did Shen Qinghe realize that Yan Changsheng was the crazy male lead from a book, and the girl was the irresistible female protagonist. As for her, she was just early cannon fodder fated to die, and her elder sister was the malevolent female supporting character whom everyone wanted to beat up. Tsk, the plot is just freaking ridiculous! After awakening, Shen Qinghe busied herself with cultivation, protecting her elder sister. Yet, unknowingly seizing the female protagonist's luck, she attracted several crazy male leads, each of them forcibly taking what they wanted from her. She thought Dongfang Wuya was relatively normal, but who knew he was crazier, actually seizing the position of Heavenly Emperor and then forcibly marrying her to become the Heavenly Empress! ** As the high and mighty belle of the cultivation world, Dongfang Wuya had countless admirers and fans. Yet he was devoted to cultivation, treating love as if it were dirt. Initially thinking Shen Qinghe was deeply in love with him, he sternly advised her, "Focus on your cultivation, do not get distracted by romantic entanglements!" Later, irked by her dedication to cultivation, he pressed her into his arms and kissed her, seductively coaxing with a playful smile, "Be my Daoist companion, and I'll aid you in cultivation, hmm?" Valerian Empire

A dark time when the creatures of shadow descended unto the tranquil human lands, making their existence known. A time followed when empires were led by humanity's conspiracy and betrayal, a time filled with hatred, but unbeknownst to the humans, they were only mere puppets, pawns of greater beings of darkness, entities with the power to crush anything and everything in their way. What happens when a small human girl catches the eye of one of these so-called greater beings, a pureblooded Lord? Can an ant such as her survive the political strifes and fearsome feuds between the lands and the monsters that control them. For those who fear vampires, ghosts and the unknown, I offer two words of advice… Tread lightly. -------- "Why should I avoid him? He was a perfect gentleman, a good man," Katherine Welcher argued in his defense. "Good or not, neither matter," Alexander Delcrov warned her, "As long as you're under my wing, you shall behave and listen to my words. Do not let any man kiss you, Katherine. I don’t want others to call you improper." "There was nothing improper about it! And I'm not yours to obey," she blurted out in annoyance, feeling her face flush with embarrassment for the second time this evening, "I mean, you can't order me aro—-" "So disobedient," he stated with nonchalance before moving his hand from her waist to her back, pulling her closer to him as they danced. His breath tickled her nape. "So you’ll only listen if you are mine?"
