Synopsis

Aurora Hamilton hasn't had the easiest life. Being born an Omega isn't the proudest moment for any wolf. Being tormented and teased for a fate that had been decided for her, Aurora takes matters into her own hands. She refuses to be the defenseless Omega that everyone labeled her to be. But a family secret is looming in the shadows, threatening to reach the surface. Liam Foster is the youngest and strongest Alpha in the Northern Hemisphere. He’s also one of the few people who believe that Aurora is capable of being much more than the average Omega. Why? Because he knows her better than he’s letting on. Will she fall to the pressure of what the pack labeled her to be? Or will she rise above the torment and become the strong wolf she knows she can be? *** “Alpha, I wanted to know if your offer was still on the table. I want you to make me stronger.” “For you, anything.” The Luna’s Dystopia is created by AZW, an eGlobal Creative Publishing signed author.

Chapter 1Chapter 1: The War is Over

Aurora’s POV

My mother gripped my hand tightly as she yanked me to the floor of our living room. She held a finger to her lips signaling me to be quiet. I wasn’t sure what was going on because last I heard there was an intruder, and the situation was being handled.

“Mom, what’s going on?” I asked, her honey-brown eyes full of fear. In my eighteen years, I had never seen my mother afraid.

“Put these in,” she breathed, stuffing my headphones into my hands. Normally she would be begging me to turn my music off and pay attention to the “real world” as she often called it.

“Now.”

Any other day I would have retorted with a snarky comment, but now didn’t seem like the time. The fear in my mother’s eyes was steadily growing. I turned on my music letting ‘Fall Out Boy’ blare through the small speakers of the headphones.

Soon enough my mother’s request hadn’t seemed so crazy. Sounds of screams and pleas from various pack members began to flood my mind. God, I hated mind-link sometimes.

My mother placed her hands over the headphones pushing them deeper into my ears, it was her best attempt at stopping the screams. It was bad enough knowing that our pack was under attack, but it was something completely different to hear their screams and know that we were hiding instead of helping.

Whoever had broken into our pack was ruthless and content at taking no prisoners in their little crusade. Call me selfish, but I hope they spare us. I hope they don’t find me and my mother and just leave. I squeezed my eyes shut trying my best to block out the others’ voices and focus on the music in my ears.

Involuntarily, tears began to fall down my face, and soon enough I was rocking along with the beat of the music. I wasn’t sure why I was crying. The pack members were horrible to me and my mother. The adults would whisper and call my mother names and the children they raised weren’t any better. I guess the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

My mother wrapped her arms around me pulling me into her chest. She began to rub her thumb in circular motions on my arms. I wasn’t sure if it were to comfort me or herself. My mother wasn’t easily scared and neither was I, but this was different. Her fear had prompted my own.

The screams had stopped and my mind was finally empty of any other unwanted voices. I was left with my ragged breathing from crying and my mother’s inconsistent hums. I took deep breaths to steady my racing heart. Maybe the silence meant it was all over.

The front door of our house flung open and my mother shrieked at the sudden burst. Moon Goddess, if there was ever a time to save us now would be it. I had never learned to fight. Alpha Robin said that it would be a useless skill for someone like me. Everyone knew that Omegas were the weakest wolves a pack could have and attempting to train one was wasting resources.

My mother had often told me that it was best for our kind to just stay hidden and out of the way. I don’t normally agree with her, but if we joined the others we would’ve just gotten ourselves killed.

“We’ve got two more in here!” the shirtless man yelled over the music in my ears. He stood like God above me and my mother, and his sandy hair was like a shaggy mop on top of his head. His blue eyes stared long at me and my mother before turning his attention to our destroyed doorway.

This was it; this was our end. I never thought I wouldn’t make it past eighteen. Though the pack members were sh*tty I had assumed that Alpha Robin’s pack had been the safest place for me and my mom. As Omegas, we weren’t the most welcomed rank of wolves, but Alpha Robin had graciously taken my mother in when she was pregnant with me and had nowhere else to go. We owed him our loyalty and trust for that alone.

Another man walked inside our house. Something about this new intruder was different. He had an aura of dominance and power, not to mention he was certainly more attractive. His long brown hair stopped at his ear, and I couldn’t help but wonder what it would feel like to run my fingers through it.

Unlike the other man, this one wasn’t shirtless, not that it mattered. The black shirt clung to his chest and left nothing for the imagination as various tattoos that littered his arms peaked from underneath. He stood with his head held high and I found myself afraid to meet his watchful gaze. He looked too intimating and as much as I hated to admit it, it scared me.

“What’s your name?” the new intruder asked. Though his voice was demanding, it held a level of tenderness. It almost sounded like he cared.

“My name is Joyce Hamilton, and this is my daughter Aurora,” my mother introduced. Her hand was still holding me tightly as if I’d disappear from her hands at any moment. I looked up at my mother as she spoke. Despite her fear, she looked at the intruder, a spark of fire beaming beneath her honey specks.

I looked from my mother to the intruder catching a glimpse of the most captivating grey eyes. His attention was no longer on my mother; they had singled in on me. His eyes were burning a hole in me, causing a shiver to go down my spine. No one had ever looked at me with such intensity.

“What’s your ranking?”

Those grey eyes never left my face as he asked the question. I was not known to be speechless, but at this moment I was at a loss for words.

“Omegas,” my mother muttered. Admitting her rank was the most depressing thing for her. We were always judged for something that we couldn’t control. My mother couldn’t help who her parents were any more than I could.

The intruder nodded and for the first time in a while, he moved his gray eyes off me. He looked around the house, landing on our pictures that covered the pale green walls of our living room. Without saying another word he walked out and left us alone with the shirtless intruder.

“Pack your things and meet everyone at the pack house,” the shirtless intruder said.

I untangled myself from my mother and stood from the floor, causing my headphones to fall out of my ears. They had been long forgotten the moment they broke our door and invaded our home.

“What do you mean? You can’t just kidnap us.”

I wasn’t sure where the courage came from, but I was returning to my normal self; the one who always had something to say and a reason to argue.

“Your precious Alpha is dead. You’ve got two options, to come with us or become a rogue.”

That was all he said before turning his back to us and walking out. Alpha Robin was dead, and our only choices were joining his murderers or becoming worse than Omegas … a Rogue.

Chosen by Fate, Rejected by the Alpha

Eighteen-year-old Trinity is unlike any other werewolf in her pack. For one, there were unusual circumstances surrounding her birth, for another, she is the only pack member to never shift into a wolf form. So now she doesn't quite belong anywhere. Not quite human and not quite wolf. She thought she would be able to live her life how she wanted when she had turned eighteen. Go to college, make some friends, have some fun. But what is she to do when the dangerously sexy Alpha literally falls right into her lap? "I am not human, and I am not a wolf. I don't belong anywhere..." "...we both know that no one is going to mate with me, and even if they did, they would just reject me anyway." What is the sexy, brooding Alpha going to do? The elders are making him hold these ridiculous parties to search for a mate. He doesn't want a mate, but he knows he needs a mate to finish the Alpha Circle. Without a mate, a Luna for the pack, his people would suffer. And what is he going to do when he stumbles across the girl that fate has chosen for him and he finds out she has no wolf? "This cannot be!" I roared. "There is no way that I can mate with a girl that does not even have a wolf. She will be too weak. She will be inferior. She will not be strong enough to be a Luna." "I simply could not accept her as my mate. Not fully. It wasn't safe for her. She would get herself killed. And she would bring my pack down with her." When these two meet, sparks will surely fly. But will it be from passion, or their constant fighting? Neither of them wanted a mate. Neither of them wants the mate that fate chose for them. And neither of them can make that mate bond go away. What are they going to do now that they're literally stuck with each other? ***Rating Warning*** Adult Language Violence Strong Sexual Content THIS BOOK IS UNDERDER AN EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT AND IT IS NOT TO BE POSTED OR PUBLISHED ANYWHERE ELSE. The Fate Of The World Is In My Hands, But All I Want To Do Is Eat!

'Kill monsters, eat meat' 'I mean, Kill monsters, save lives. Got it.' 'Tut, I could've sworn that the first one sounded better.' She wasn't a girl looking for freedom or self-righteous liberation by a hero, or whatever shit a girl who suffered for almost all her life would crave. -the shit of a life she was living was horrible, but it was bearable, and so she got used to it. Rather, instead of freedom, what this little missy wanted was money. Lots and lots of them so she never has to worry about the next day. Money - bountiful enough that when she has to spend, she doesn't need to look back or calculate her assets to see how much she has left. Money - bountiful enough to get all the fried chicken she could ever dream of. Yeah, you heard it, fried chicken. For those who did not have money to spare leisurely, getting fried chicken was like a pipe dream to them and she had been one of those unfortunate souls. A comfortable roof above her head and no worries as to when she would get ordered around to steal. No worries about when she would get her next meal-- That was her liberation. And she got it. Just that, she got it most absurdly. Awakened! Those were the people ruling the world, alongside beastly and deadly monsters who threatened the safety of average human beings. And those awakened call the shots. Alice never dreamed she would one day be awakened, and compared to others with their game-like system displaying their attributes and strength; she had a full-grown man whom only she could hear, watching her back at every turn and telling her what to do. He was kinda a pain in the ass but she couldn't complain. It was this gift he had bestowed on her that made her the most powerful Awakened there was with stats that even S-class awakeneds couldn't compare to. She was the boss, now. Mwa-hahahahaha. But life didn't go as easy and leisurely as she planned. With great power comes great responsibility, right? Well, in her case with great power comes great hunger. She couldn't go a moment without getting hungry and her stomach had become a bottomless pit. And to get food, she needed money, and to get money, she had to hunt monsters. The monsters plagued humanity, causing catastrophes and taking lives mercilessly. Those monsters, as scary as they may be, were her target and she had to face them head-on. The bigger the monsters the more money she would gain. Yeah, that was the plan, but... This guy acting as her system seemed to have other plans, putting her at the forefront of 'justice' and having her clean the mess he somewhat created. 'Ugh, I can already sense a shadow of foreboding. Someone, please tell me I'm not acting the main character role. I just want to eat, okay?'

Abyssal Awakening

Having spent her childhood confined in chains, Alice was a child who knew neither love nor joy. Scorned by her family while being tortured in the name of the greater good for years, she grew numb to all feeling and thought. That is, until one day, a man in black offered her a chance to escape. There were once rumours widespread of an endless hell, a land of glorious death and dreadful opportunity. Fools went in search of it, and the clever never ventured into it. Only when its baleful mysteries spilled unto the earth did all hear its name — the Abyss. A single drop of its blood could give someone the power to control shadows, move faster than sound, or strength greater than the strongest man. Yet, it all came at a cost; the blood would always make sure those who consumed it became part of the Abyss, with one exception — Alice. Cast away by her own blood, it was her destiny to rot in a gilded cage. But, that fateful day changed everything. Gifted a second chance at life, a chance to turn her life around and claim vengeance against her family, a chance to dive deep into the Abyss and gain the power to govern her own fate, Alice took his hand, unaware of the destiny unfolding before her. Discord: https://discord.gg/vrdTSkj8Va Author Notes: This is my third book, going to take what I learned from before to improve. This book will be focusing on plot, action, depths of character bonds and overall a darker tone/take on this cruel fantasy world I've cooked up for this book! If you give this book a try, I hope you enjoy! A very different experience and tone to Nanomancer Reborn.
