Vol. 7 - Chapter 2: The Targeted Celebrity.
Part 1 – Angel City Beach
Uriel walks away from the beach and enters an empty street. He begins to think to himself:
"Johanna, I still can't figure out what she is thinking. I wonder how everyone is doing back in the Borderland."
Uriel sighs with his eyes closed and walks slowly. Two blocks away a young girl with brown hair is runs away from the two suspicious guys in black suit. One of the guys begins to scream:
"Mistress Wait, Don Condoriano wants to talk to you."
"Forget it, I don't want to meet that guy, stay away." The girl screams as she runs faster. She turns into the street where Uriel was, Uriel was texting Valerie asking how she was. The girl runs looking back at the men and does not notice Uriel.
(BBBBBOOOOMMMM)
The girl bumps into Uriel, her sunglasses fall off. Uriel is also on the ground, he looks at the girl with her hands on her head and her eyes close screaming: "Hey that hurt."
"I'm sorry, are you okay?" Uriel asks the girl, she opens her eyes and shocks Uriel. She notices Uriel's expression and quickly puts her glasses on. She stands up and stands behind Uriel, the two guys arrive in front of Uriel, one of them steps forward and says:
"Young man please hand over that girl for us, her father is waiting for her arrival."
Uriel looks clueless at what was happening; the girl looks at him and says: "Don't listen to them, they are lying." Uriel steps forward and says: "Sorry but that won't do, I will not hand her over."
The second men pulls out a badge that said; "ACPD" which meant Angel City Police Department. Uriel looks at the badge and begins to doubt his actions. The man says: "Listen we are agents from the police department, this girl here ran away from her father's side and we were hired to bring her back, if you want to interfere you could end up on jail."
Uriel lowers his head thinking what to do; the girl notices that and begins to walk forward saying: "Alright I will go with you." Uriel begins to see how in slow motion those men begin to smile in a sinister way. Uriel begins to hear a strange rhythm coming the girl's soul, she was scared.
"Come along now, you father is waiting." The man says with a smile. Uriel grabs the man's arm and says: "On second thought, she is coming with me."
(BBBBOOOMMM)
Uriel slams the man in to the ground. The second man takes out a gun however Uriel notices and with great speed kicks him and sends him crashing to wall. The girl is surprise to see Uriel's actions, Uriel grabs the girl's hand and pulls her, and they begin to run down the alley.
"Hurry we must escape." Uriel exclaims to the girl, the girl looks confused and asks:
"Why are you helping me, how did you know they were fake?"
"They were fake? To be honest, I just took the risk." Uriel replies as he laughs.
"Wait what?" The girl screams with a clueless face. Uriel notices more agents coming their way, Uriel grabs the tightly and says: "Hold on, I will jump."
"Wait what are you doing, you pervert?" The girl screams with a red face.
"WAIT, DON'T MOVE A MUSCLE" One of the agents screams at them. Wind begins to form in Uriel's feet, they begin to float slowly, and Uriel begins to say:
"VientoDivino; Impulso" (Divine Wind; Impulse)
A massive wind blows causing Uriel and the girl to fly to the sky. The girl begins to scream:
"AAAAHHHHHHH"
Uriel and the girl fly throughout the city; they begin to fall at the beach. The girl moves around as Uriel tells her: "Please stay still"
The girl stops moving and sees the landscape, and how the sun illuminates the ocean making it glow. Uriel and the girl are about to land; Uriel stretches his right arm and says:
"Vientodivino; Nube de Arena" (Divine Wind; Dust Cloud)
Wind blows at high speed causing sand to rise making a huge cloud. People begin to scream and run away while Uriel and the girl land in the beach without anyone noticing. At the moment they land, Uriel with great speed disappears with the girl.
In another part of the beach Uriel finally lets down the girl, the girl looks at Uriel and says:
"Thank you"
(GGGRRRROOOOOWWLLLL)
The girl blushes, her stomach growls of hunger. Uriel sighs with his eyes and smiles:
"Would you like to eat something?"
The girl with a shy face lowers her head and nods with agreement.
Part 2–In an Italian restaurant near the beach.
Johanna changed her clothes in order to get close to Don Condoriano. She is wearing a tight blue dress with high heels, and a blonde wig. She manages to get Don Condoriano's attention and invited her to eat with him.
Don Condoriano is a 50 year old man; he has a bald head, white skin. He also has a large body and very tall. He is in charge of the west coast industry of salmon. However he is also the top drug dealer in the country.
"So tell me Condoriano, what do you think of the sensational artist idol; Chloe Diamont?" Johanna asks Condoriano with a seductive voice.
"Well you my sweet girl, she is very special because I want her to give me private concerts." Condoriano responds with a luxurious voice.
Johanna frowns at him, turns her head and says: "So you like younger girls, you pedophile."
"No, no, I just want her to give me concerts for my girl, plus a certain man wants her as well." Don Condoriano responds hugging her slowly, Johanna pushes him back with a "fake" smile and asks:
"Who is that man that you speak?"
Condoriano smiles and responds: "Well I can tell you but you need to give me something first."
Don Condoriano puts a smile and begins to pass his arm to her waist. Johanna takes his arm off and says; "Well if you want something good, tell me, first who is that man?"
"His name is Darius Lucifugus, and he is partner of mine." Condoriano responds Johanna smiles and gives him a kiss in his forehead. At that moment a bodyguard with black skin arrives and says:
"Sorry to bother you boss, but the girl got away."
"WWWHHHAAT DID YOU SAAYY!!" Condoriano screams with fury. The bodyguard kneels in one knee and says:
"Apparently, she escaped with a young man with brown skin, blue hair and green eyes."
Johanna sighs with his eyes close thinking: "You did it again Uriel, you are trouble magnet."
"I WANT THAT SON OF BITCH DEAD YOU HEAR ME!!" Condoriano orders his bodyguard, the bodyguard leaves with great speed.
"Now then shall we continue..."Condoriano says to Johanna however she disappeared from his sight. Johanna goes to the restroom to change and escapes the restaurant from a window. She begins to run in search for Uriel.
Part 3 – Angel Beach
Uriel took the girl he saved to a restaurant for her to eat. The girl is eating very "shy" however she already finishes off four plates of the main servings. Uriel looks surprised on how much the girl eats. He looks at his wallet and sighs with his eyes close thinking:
"There goes my allowance; Johanna is going to kill me."
The girl finishes eating and with a shy tone she says: "Thank you for the food,"
"You are welcome." Uriel replies with a smile. Uriel drinks from his glass and continues to speak:
"Well then, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Uriel Di Fiore and I am a substitute teacher and you?"
"My name is Chloe Inoue and I am a singer." Chloe replies with a shy voice.
Chloe Inoue (Age 16) is a girl with short brown hair and white skin. She is wearing a blue beach dress, tennis shoes, and sunglasses that cover her eyes and a cap to keep her face hidden.
"Inoue, that sounds like a Japanese name." Uriel says to Chloe, she nods and replies:
"Yes, my father is Japanese and my mother is French, I currently live in Japan, but I came here to sing,"
"I see, well that is interesting." Uriel replies with a smile and continues to speak:
"So tell me, why were those men chasing after you, does your dad really want you to go with him?"
The girl lowers her head and replies: "That was a lie, my dad is in China doing business, and those guys want me to go with them because Condoriano offered me a job."
"So Condoriano send people to get you, so don´t you have any bodyguards?" Uriel asks Chloe, she answers with a low tone:
"They were killed trying to protect me."
"I understand, but shouldn´t you call you parents, they must be worried." Uriel says to Chloe, she lifts her head and says:
"No I can´t!" Chloe lowers he head once again and continues speaking;
"Being an artist is my dream, these are just drawbacks, I am supposed to go Sin City and have one last concert before returning to Japan. New bodyguards are on the way, but for now can I ask you a favor."
Uriel sighs thinking: "Please don´t be too obvious."
"Could you be my bodyguard until I get to Sin City?" Chloe asks with a shy voice. Uriel thinks to himself:
"I knew it, this is so cliché."
Two supermodels begin to ask Chloe out, they were the same models that were talking to Johanna.
"Hey baby, why don´t you come with us?" The blonde hair supermodel says to Chloe, she turns him down causing him be angry, the other grabs her arm trying to pull her.
Uriel stands up and says: "Excuse me, I can´t believe I have to do this twice in a day."
The models look at Uriel and get nervous, the black haired model begins to say:
"YOU AGAIN, PLEASE SPARE US!"
Uriel grabs both of them and throws them out of the window once more.
(BBBBOOOOMMMM)
The supermodels run away crying, Chloe is fascinated to what Uriel did thinking:
"He is just my type."
Uriel closes his eyes to think, Chloe is nervous for Uriel´s answer. He opens his eyes and replies:
"Alright, I promise you that I will protect you."
Chloe smiles and takes off her sun glasses; Uriel is shocked to see that she has the right eye colored blue and the other eye colored green. Chloe with tears says:
"Thank you."
In the top of a building a figure of a young man, looks down with a pair of binoculars, he communicates with his boss saying: "Mr. Allen, I found my objective, I will start my mission."
