Vol. 12 - Chapter 14: Connected Hearts

(DRIP, DRIP,DROP,DROP)

The sound of drops is heard, there is a complete silence. The clouds cover the sky once more with a small light of the moon leaking and illuminating the knife that is running through Johanna.

Uriel is in shock as Marjorie is the one who stabbing Johanna. Johanna begins to throw up blood. Uriel only says with a nervously tone:

"M-M-Marjorie is that you?"

"Of course it is mw my love, let just finish with her and I will be with you in a moment," Marjorie answers Uriel's question with a cute smile. She takes out the knife causing Johanna to lose so much blood. Johanna falls into her knees as she cough up blood. Marjorie prepares to attack Johanna once more as she points the knife at her direction. Marjorie makes a sinister smile as she says:

"How dare you touch my love?"

Uriel, who is just observing this and is in a state of shock, only hears the voice of Johanna as she whispers; "Uriel, help me."

"NNNOOOO!"

(SSSLLLLAAASSHHHH)

Marjorie makes a cut at Uriel who protected Johanna; Uriel grabs Johanna and with great speed gets her away from Marjorie. Uriel holds Johanna and asks:

"Johanna, Johanna are you okay, talk to me?"

Johanna slowly opens her eyes and smiles saying; "I've had better days Uriel." Uriel holds her and says; "I'm sorry, I should have let you stay behind."

Uriel lifts his head and looks at Marjorie and exclaims:

"WHY DID YOU THAT? WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU MARJORIE?"

Marjorie begins to walk slowly towards to the altar. Once again, the moon illuminates the open ceiling of the old church. The light illuminates Marjorie, Uriel is in shock as he sees that Marjorie is wearing a bride dress.

Marjorie has a white bride's dress, the dress marks her curves, she has a long skirt, with a wide corset; she has long white gloves, a white veil. She is also wearing a red lipstick and make up making her looks beautiful.

Marjorie begins to laugh as she replies:

"Because, I know that she is your lover."

Uriel looks at her with shock, he begins to tremble as he replies; "Wait, why are you saying that?"

"I saw you with her, as well as I saw you with Chloe Diamont, Angela and Victoria, Katsumi Miyazono, Samantha and the White witch Alexandria." Marjorie begins to drop tears as she continues to speak:

"I saw you how you kissed the, how they slept with you, how you were acting with those girls. I am not stupid; I saw everything even though you promised me that I was the one. I thought you loved me?'

Uriel looks with a shocking expression and replies: "Marjorie you got it wrong, it is just a mistake, you see I…"

"SHUT UP, YOU LIAR, YOU GIGOLLO, YOU ONLY WANT MY BODY!" Marjorie throws a tantrum, she begins to cry, and Uriel lowers his head as he begins to remember all the times that he was with another woman. She continues to speak:

"Don't you remember the promise we made when we were young? Weren't we supposed to get married and be together forever? Why did you do that to me?"

Uriel only looks down without giving an answer; he makes fists in his hands as he begins to say:

"It's true, I failed you Marjorie, I was supposed to respect you because we are supposed to be together. That is why I wrote you a letter remember. I promised you that I would return and get you, did you forget?"

Marjorie looks with anger and replies; "Yeah I remember, but you are a liar, because you came here with this woman who claims to be your future wife."

Uriel opens his eyes wider and slowly turns to see an unconscious Johanna; he is speechless as he cannot come up with an answer. Marjorie cries:

"You see, you are only a womanizer, you claim that you love me but yet you have her and other women who believe you love them."

Uriel once again looks down; he begins to feel guilt, and thinks:

"It's true, I have hurt her, I was supposed to be with her and yet I ended kissing Chloe, Johanna, Samantha and Alexandria. I am just a worthless person."

"Marjorie its true, I have failed you, but you need to know this, I Love You!" Uriel walks forward to the middle of the church.

(BBBAADDDUUUMMMPP)

Marjorie´s eyes begin to change into blue colored ones; she begins to cry as she runs towards where Uriel is. Marjorie hugs Uriel asking:

"Do you mean it?"

"Of course, I have always loved you; you are the one for me." Uriel hugs Marjorie tighter, Marjorie closes her eyes, she begins to think:

"Thank God, Uriel does love…"

(BBBAAADDUUMMMPPP)

Suddenly, Marjorie´s eyes turn back to the green colored, she begins to smile as she asks:

"Uriel, would you die by my side?"

Uriel opens his eyes with doubt, he asks; "What are you talking about…"

(SSSLLLLAAASSSHHH)

Marjorie stabs Uriel from the back, Uriel begins to bleed, and he begins to tremble as he asks:

"Marjorie, what are you doing?"

"It's just a little punishment for cheating on me my dear, and now I will do this." Marjorie raises the knife filled with Uriel´s blood, she turns the knife into her direction and stabs herself in the arm, and Uriel is in shocked and asks:

"WHAT THE HELL, MARJORIE WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?"

"Because I want our bloods to be combined because we are one remember, now then, lets sealed our love." Marjorie begins to go closer to Uriel; Uriel who is in shock begins step backward. Marjorie puts a cute face and asks:

"Why are you stepping back? Are you afraid of me?"

Uriel is speechless, Marjorie begins to put her arms on Uriel´s neck, she begins to ask in a seductive tone:

"Uriel I desire you, don't you desire me?"

Marjorie kisses Uriel, their lips begin to touch slowly, Uriel enters in a state of shock, and he pushes Marjorie back.

(BBBAAADDUUUMMPP)

He begins to feel his heart raising, he breathes heavily trying to move back, however Marjorie does not let him as she says:

"Remember when we dance in the Prom? It felt as if the world did matter to us, now I ask you the same, forget about everything and kiss me, kiss me with all your love."

Marjorie once again kisses Uriel in the mouth, Uriel breathes slowly as his heart raises, he slowly begins to put his arms on Marjorie´s hips, he slowly closes his eyes and begins to enjoy the moment. They exchange a passionate kiss as if the world does not exist around them.

Silently, at that moment, a portal opens and two hands appear on the portal. The hands are on the different sides, slowly the blood on the knife begins to levitate, and float in the middle of the lovers.

The hands belong to Alexandria; she comes out of the portal and begins to chant:

"Destinies together, destinies apart, May you souls be connected for eternity."

(BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP)

Uriel notices and separates from Marjorie, Marjorie smiles; Uriel turns and sees Alexandria as he asks:

"What are you doing here Alexandria?"

(BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP)

Uriel and Marjorie are paralyzed, their heart beating begin to synchronize to the point that they are beating the same. The drops of blood that are in the middle begin to shine.

"What is happening, Marjorie are you…" Uriel looks at Marjorie who has a great smile, he begins to think:

"Marjorie, don't tell me that you…"

(BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP)

The drop of blood begins to expand and takes shape of a heart. Alexandria begins to concentrate manna in the heart, suddenly; the heart begins to spread red veins towards both of the directions. The red veins begin to wrap themselves around both of them. Uriel and Marjorie are completely paralyzed by the spell. The veins begin to take shape of threads as Alexandria continues to chant:

"Past Lovers, Present Lovers, Future Lovers, may your destinies be together and never be separated."

(BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP)

"What is happening, I can feel Marjorie´s heart, as if it was inside my body." Uriel says as he looks at the artificial heart beating at normal speed. Alexandria grabs the heart and finishes the spell:

"Connected Cordibus Vestries" (Connected Hearts)

(BADUMP, BADUMP, BADUMP)

The threads disappear, Alexandria grabs the heart, Uriel and Marjorie can move again. Uriel touches his chest and thinks:

"What was that? My heart is back to normal, as if nothing happened."

Uriel looks up and sees Alexandria; he begins to walk towards her and asks:

"Alexandria, what are you doing here?"

Alexandria does not respond, she only stares at him with a cold gaze, Uriel gets angry and exclaims:

"ANSWER ME, WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?"

"I will be the one answering this, Professor Di Fiore." Uriel hears a voice coming out of the air, suddenly, a portal opens up and Aleister comes out in the altar. Uriel glares at him and says:

"Aleister, you son of a bitch."

"That´s funny, you are the second person to call me that tonight. Alejandro was the other one and killed him for that." Aleister makes a sinister smile, Uriel opens his eyes wider as he enter in a state of shock. He begins to say:

"You´re lying, you liar you could not have done that."

"Oh I did, and I must say, I enjoyed killing your best friend." Aleister chuckles, Uriel charges at him, he prepares to attack Aleister with his fist.

(BBBBOOOOMMM)

Uriel connects a hit, however, Aleister blocks the attack with his hand, Uriel looks surprised, Aleister smiles and kicks Uriel with force.

(CCCRRRAAASSHHHH)

Aleister sends Uriel flying and makes him crash with several recliners and hits the wall. Uriel breathes heavily as he thinks:

"What was that? Has Aleister been this strong?"

"You are wondering if I have always been this strong, well the answer is yes, the truth is I always acted to be inferior to you in order avoid suspicion, but in truth is that between you and me, I am the strongest." Aleister replies, Alexandria gives him the heart, Uriel stands up and asks:

"What is that thing?"

"You want to know, huh, well let me give you a demonstration." Aleister begins to squish the heart with great force.

(BBBAAADDUUUMMPP)

"GYYAAAHHH" Marjorie begins to grab her chest and screams of pain. "AAHHHH" Uriel also grabs his chest and screams of pain, Aleister begins to laugh with force as he says:

"This is magnificent, you outdone yourself Alexandria."

Aleister stops squishing the heart, Uriel and Marjorie stop feeling pain, Alexandria glares at Aleister as she says:

"Please don't do that again."

"I´m sorry, I just wanted to demonstrate Uriel what you did." Aleister apologizes, Uriel breathes heavily and says:

"My heart, it hurt the moment Aleister put pressure on the other, Marjorie felt it as well." Uriel looks at Marjorie who falls into the ground, Aleister holds her before she falls completely, he looks at Uriel and begins to speak:

"Do you get it now? You´re hearts are connected Uriel, which means that your lives belong to me now."

Uriel looks at them with shock; he has his eyes wide open as he says:

"You monster, why are you doing this to Marjorie?"

"Well I just understood that if I can't have her, than you won't have her either." Aleister replies to Uriel, Aleister begins to walk forward and snaps his finger.

Suddenly, four portals begin to appear, and out of the portals, four figures wearing skeleton masks appear. Uriel is in shock and smiles:

"So then, your Henchmen have arrived huh."

"That´s right, and now, I want you fight them." Aleister replies as he extends his arms, Uriel looks at them and says:

"You´re crazy, I don't want to hurt innocent people."

Aleister takes out the heart and says; "Well then, I will do this again, I wonder if Marjorie can survive, you can withstand this, but Marjorie will die."

Uriel closes his eyes feeling anger, he looks at Johanna who is still unconscious, -TCH- Uriel looks at Aleister and says:

"I guess I have no choice, bring it on."

"Excellent!" Aleister makes the signal, and the four Muertos begin to charge at Uriel at the same time.
