Extra 15: Dragon & Dragon Maids (Extra)

3 years had passed since Kurama disappeared and many things happened during this time.

Lucy and the others had managed to find the letter that the white-haired man had left next to the strange artifact that could summon him in the future, but no matter how hard they tried, it still didn't work.

[Fairy Tail] managed to win the tournament, but in the middle of the event, hundreds of dragons came out of nowhere because of the plan of a certain lunatic from the future.

Natsu and the others quickly solved the problem, ending the villain and saving the kingdom.

After that, not many interesting things happened, everyone's life returned to normal and the events seemed to have become mere memories.

The magic council had again changed its mandate, but when it was the day when the new members were to be revealed, the news was heard that some of them had been found dead.

The different guilds of [Fiore], quickly began the investigation, ending up discovering that those responsible were none other than the dark mages of the guild [Tartarus].

The lawful guilds quickly started a war against the dark guilds that were being led by Zeref's closest servants.

The battle lasted for dozens of days, until after 4 months, the lawful guilds managed to defeat the dark guilds, eliminating them almost completely.

It was during this time that Natsu and Lissana started a relationship because the white-haired girl almost died in an attack, showing the pink-haired boy how important she was to him.

Happy was happy because now his two parents were finally together.

Everyone celebrated this beginning of a relationship, while a small group thought about certain people who had left them.

Things had calmed down for a few more months, until everyone in [Fiore], heard certain news that froze them, Zeref, the most dangerous dark wizard in the world, had decided to start an attack against the kingdom of magic, and he was not alone, he had an empire under his command, the dreaded [Alvarez Empire].

Makarov quickly understood what was going on because Mavis, the first guild master had informed him of the dark wizard's intentions, he wanted the secret of [Fairy Tail] for some reason unknown to them.

The former guild master, quickly called all the members strong enough to protect this secret, and told them about the secret he had been keeping for years.

Laxus was surprised, but accepted his grandfather's words without hesitation, so he quickly ordered everyone to get ready because another war was about to begin, one that would be much more dangerous.

The members of [Fairy Tail], nodded firmly and prepared for this new battle that was on the horizon.

The people who could not fight, or did not want to, were quickly escorted to safety.

The months weighed on, and the pressure was mounting.

Natsu could feel his flames glowing with an enormous intensity as the words of Kurama and Iruru, echoed in his mind.

Lucy, Erza, Juvia and Mirajane had been training with Irene, who despite being a sadistic and cold woman when it came to training, was fair and had helped them more than they could dream of.

Unbeknownst to them, the time had come.

The [Alvarez Empire] had initiated the attack.

[Fiore] was not far behind, they quickly counterattacked, though after the [Spriggan], Zeref's royal guard, attacked, the tables were turned again.

Each of the [Spriggan], was a force of nature, and what was worse, God Serena had betrayed them and was part of this group.

Zeref had appeared and sent the message, he only wanted one thing, [Fairy Heart], the secret of [Fairy Tail], and he would not stop until he got it.

Many guilds tried to tell [Fairy Tail] to hand it over to end all the suffering and death, but a single word from Laxus, made everyone keep silent.

It wasn't that Laxus didn't want to end all this, but it was impossible because [Fairy Heart] was an almost unlimited source of magical power, one that if it fell into Zeref's hands, everything would end.

[Fairy Tail] quickly jumped into the battlefield, being led by Laxus, and they faced directly against the [Spriggan].

With the presence of the stronger guild of [Fiore], things again changed.

A few days later, not only [Blue Pegasus] was on the battlefield, but also all the other guilds.

It took a whole week, full of losses, for the war to end.

The battle had been faster than with the dark guilds, but the number of deaths and destruction could not compare.

Secrets had been revealed, the most damaged of all being Natsu, who had discovered something he could not believe. Zeref was his older brother, and he was [E.N.D.], his strongest demon.

Natsu nearly lost his mind when he heard this, but he managed to regain control thanks to Lissana. With her help, he managed to accept the truth and use it to stop his brother's suffering, regardless of his former identity.

It was at that moment that he managed to hear Igneel's voice and understand that his father was always with him.

Igneel came out of his body with the other dragons that were inside the [Dragon Slayers] to help them with this battle.

Zeref was upset, but there wasn't much he could do in that situation, more so when his soldiers were falling, and the [Spriggan] were dying one after another, leaving only a small force of the mighty empire he had been building for years.

Natsu quickly appeared in front of his brother and faced him.

Zeref told him the truth, about his parents and his past.

Natsu could only look at Zeref in pain as they began their final confrontation, which lasted two full days, Natsu being the victor after accepting his identity. He had managed to maintain his humanity while controlling his draconic and demonic powers, all thanks to the advice Kurama had left behind.

Zeref had fallen, he died as he had wanted, and left with a smile before watching as Mavis said goodbye to her beloved.

Mavis was silent, but her expression changed as she watched as an old man, took on the appearance of a child and ran to Zeref. She felt the resemblance of her and Zeref, so it was obvious what was happening, even if she didn't want to believe it.

She burst into tears as she tried to hug her son, only to notice how the little boy seemed to disintegrate into a sea of golden particles.

That was the last thing she could bear, so she decided to beg to be released, even though that one might kill her.

Makarov nodded because he could see the suffering in the first guild master, she had not only lost the man she loved, but also the son she didn't know she had borne.

Mavis quickly ran to Zeref with his freed body and gave him a small kiss, before his body disintegrated along with that of his family.

Natsu and Makarov watched as she departed with her family, hoping for a better ending in paradise.

After the war ended, things returned to normal, though it took a few months to stabilize the overall situation.

That leaves us with the present.

Laxus and Laki had their first child, though this was not a happy one for the two first-time parents because Makarov had died a few days earlier, but with a smile on his old face.

Laxus named his son after his grandfather, a gesture that was well received by the members of [Fairy Tail], who could see how the old guild master was still with them.

Gildarts decided to stop working away for so long, and returned to the home he had shared with his late wife. Kana followed him for a few months before returning to the guild.

Natsu decided to team up with Lissana and Happy, they were now the ones taking the long missions that Gildarts had left.

Elfman and Evergreen were friends again, although the spark from so many years before had died.

Erza now lived with her mother, and they traveled around [Fiore] to make up for lost time, though they returned several times to [Magnolia] to spend time with the girls. She had already forgiven Kurama, though this was obvious after seeing all the deaths a bad person had caused by fulfilling his wishes.

Lucy, Juvia and Mirajane, became best friends, and spent most of their time together in the house that Kurama had bought years ago.

"I guess today is the third year" - said Juvia, who had matured as time went by - "Juvia still can't believe how time goes by."

"Third time's the charm" - replied Lucy firmly as she took the strange artifact.

"I hope so, I still have a lot of things to talk to Kurama about" - said Erza, who was crossing her arms.

Irene was with her back pressed against the wall, watching everything in silence.

"Who's going to try?" - Mirajane asked with a small smile.

"Why don't we all do it?" - Lucy asked as she called out to Aries - "I'm sure at least one of us wants to see it from the bottom of her heart, and if it's still not enough, between all of us we can make it happen."

"That's a good plan, Lucy-san," muttered Juvia as she nodded.

The girls quickly touched the strange artifact, only to be surprised that it began to glow as a strange portal appeared in front of them.
