Chapter 51

I release a sigh when we arrive at the mansion. I throw my body on the sofa and release another sigh.

"Are you tired, Ryan?"

"Hmmm? Not really. I just have a harder time entering the Dragon Force mode with the air in here not as pure as the one in Kyoto."

"Really? Is it that bad? I know that the air in here is a bit tainted, but I don't know if it will affect you too much."

"It is because of my magic that I am sensitive to the air quality of the world. Even if it is not a big difference to you, it is a huge difference to me."

If not for me already preparing for battle since I arrived in this town, it would take a full minute of breathing in the air before I could enter Dragon Force mode. Luckily, the Natural Energy here is the same as in Kyoto, a lot but tainted. I can take care of that easily.

I nod and say.

"Fair enough. So, what should we do now?"

Yasaka smiles at me and walks toward me.

"All this fighting makes me hungry."

I look at her for a second before saying.

"At least let me take a bath first. The fight made me sweaty."

She snaps her fingers without saying anything, and suddenly, my body gets clean.

I look at the group of people outside the mansion and bow a little. I can see Serafall Leviathan, Sona Sitri, and Rias Gremory. Of course, Rias and Sona bring their peerage members with them.

"Welcome to our humble abode. Please follow me. Lady Yasaka is already waiting for you."

I take them to the meeting room, and while we are walking, I can see Serafall walk next to me and say.

"Can I ask you a few questions?"

"Of course, Lady Leviathan."

"Please call me Serafall or Levia-Tan!"

I only smile at her and say.

"What is your question?"

"Right. You are Ryan Hernandes, right?"

"That is me, yes."

"You are the winner of the last fight in the tournament, right? The Annual College Tournament."

"That is me, yes."

I can see Sona and Rias look at the two of them in confusion. Did they not know about the tournament? I know that most of the people who watch live in the arena are mostly Youkai and Humans, but there is also the highlight of the fight in the YouTube version for the Moonlight side of the world. Did they not watch the highlight or even get the recommendation for the highlight?

"I know it! You are so cool fighting all of your opponents! You are like POW! KAPOW! And then KABOOM!"

I can only smile at her way of describing the fight. If not for my Senjutsu, I would think that she is an innocent and fragile woman. However, because of my Senjutsu, I know that she is a monster in a humanoid form.

If Yasaka's energy is like a volcano ready to burst at any moment, Serafall's energy feels like a giant snowy mountain. It is solid and looks peaceful but if disturbed, a deadly avalanche will come at you.

"Thank you for your compliment."

"Nee~ What about you join my peerage?"

I choke the air and look at her in surprise. I can see the others also look at Serafall in surprise. I take a deep breath and say.

"Please don't tease me, Lady Leviathan."

"Teasing you? I did not do that, you know? I am serious about my offer. If you join my peerage, I shall give you anything you want. Money? Power? Or maybe me?"

I can feel the hateful glare coming from Genshirou Saji and Issei Hyoudo. I ignore them and shake my head.

"I am sorry, my lady. I must reject your offer. I am happy to be who I am. I am not some power hungry person."

Instead of being disappointed or angry at my rejection, she smiled at me and nodded her head.

"I see. That is a shame. However, if you change your mind, please contact me through this."

She gives me a piece of paper with a magic circle on it.

"Summon me if you change your mind, okay?~"

I can only nod my head at that word. After another few seconds of walking, we arrived at the meeting room. I open the door, get inside, and stand behind Yasaka.

"Sister, can I ask the reason why you gave him your last summoning contract?"

Serafall and her group are currently walking out of the mansion after the meeting between the Youkai and Devil factions.

"Satan's summoning contract is a precious thing to give. With that alone, we can create an alliance with a small faction or even a medium-sized magician group. They are not a regular summoning contract, after all."

Serafall only smiles at Sona's words and says.

"Hahahaha~ You did not need to worry, Sona-chan. He is worth that summoning contract. He is worth more than that."
