The Last Heroes: Warriors against the Sinful

An inevitable war broke out two thousand years ago in the Primal Region. Aliens, humans, and the 'special people' could not make amends. But peace was found at last the day one man stood between the three species. Later, the corrupted aliens and evil-doers devise a plan to out-smart this man. He died in the end, and the humans lost their home: Legon City, for 18 years. The 'special people' still live amongst the humans and have joined forces to retain the city! 0.45: Re-connecting!

At last, Gaiyato made his way to the field. With so much spiritas flowing out of him, it was no surprise that this scaled whichever team he'd join in their favour. "Why such a long face? Did you do something wrong?"

Noriko looked at a stunned Seto, knowing Gaiyato was still alive. "…Mister Gaiyato, I-"

"No need to say anything… I'm already aware of everything. You tried to get rid of me and failed."

Gaiyato lifted his hand as Seto began to levitate towards him. "I forgot to tell you that my prowess is wind as well…but to clarify, I have twelve."

Everyone was shocked by his reveal, especially Azahii.

"Twelve…but that's impossible!" Azahii said.`

"Yeah, it is; even I was just as nonplused. But you took all my main prowess, leaving me with eleven others to clasp upon." Seto began panicking the closer he got to him. "Now tell me, which prowess do you wanna die by?"

Gaiyato displayed all the elements in his hand while Noriko tried pulling Seto back to the ground. He watched her struggle until an idea came to mind. "I guess most families end with the same fate…"

Seto heard the sound of lightning raring before him.

~ELEMENTAL PROWESS: LIGHTNING!!

ZAP!!

A bolt struck him through the chest as Gaiyato plunged them.

"…SETO!!" Azahii ran to catch him. Filled with rage, he frowned at a tepid Gaiyato while Sir Williams was further satisfied.

"Gaiyato, you finally chose to join us? Don't worry; you will not regret it."

"Ah yes, Mister President. It was my honor to work alongside you; I will forever be grateful…" The captain also sighed in relief as he said that. "But unfortunately, you're next."

"!!!" Malcolm held his blade at Gaiyato, but it did not daunt him.

"You dare bring my girlfriend to an apprehension…knowing damn well this would have happened? You do not care about your subordinates at all!"

The captains looked his way. "W-What are you talking about?! I wouldn't have been here in person if I didn't care about them!" Williams confronted.

"hehe…" Gaiyato made his way to the ground. "I see then. If you don't tell them the truth, I'll do what you brought them here to do!"

~HAKURAA!!!~

BWOOSH!!!!!

A massive implode of spiritas burst from Gaiyato as the villains and captains shielded their vision. "I don't care who it is, but all of you are dying today!"

Seto vaguely opened his eyes as he felt a soft cloud on his face. A slight breeze coated him with warmth as he witnessed the sunrise and sunset in the area.

"Whoa, this is beautiful…"

"I know; I painted it myself."

He got spooked by a voice from afar—a man with a colorful hat, no eyebrows, and a long beard painting on thin air. The drawing came to life as he released his brush, and the fish began swimming to the sky.

"Whoa… that's what my prowess looks like?"

"Precisely! It is amazing to finally meet my vessel, Seto."

"Vessel…so you are, like, my Immortal or something?"

"I am your immortal, Leo Davi! The master of the arts!"

The wind blew harder after his statement while turning his attention to the giant white wall. "Seto, you seemed to have reached your limit on the battlefield. It is not often that Immortals get real-time contact with their ronin. What changed the coincidence?"

"…Davi, I can't beat anyone in this state. I've focused on painting all my life without seeing what I've drawn…but everything goes so fast on the battlefield, and I don't even know where to begin." He stared into the sky while slowly drawing blood off his brush. "Everyone says I have an amazing prowess, but what's the point if I can't even use it that well?"

Leo gazed upon the horizon while thinking of a solution to his doubts.

"You are not blind,"

"…that is not what I hoped to hear from you, but okay…"

"That's because you were split in two the day you were born."

"What does that even mean?!"

"Seto, you figured the ability to sync with another ronin, giving you their traits and abilities too. But the answer to your problem was in front of you all along…"

He took a moment to think and then finally realized it. "Noro…I COULD SYNC WITH HER TO GET MY SIGHT BACK!! But, I'm dead dead, so I…" He stumbled back into despair.

"No, Seto. When a person creates an art piece, it becomes known. They may die, but the art lives FOREVER! You are not dead as long as you ensure it!"

Seto nodded his head and held his brush. He quickly drew both of them in a recovered state, then turned to the wall.

"Seto, I am your immortal. But you can only summon me once you sync with Noriko. Return to the battlefield and WIN!"
