House Meeting

Hana, the President of Yoon Group and mother of Novelle (Yuri), Haru Sohma, Jung, and Taewoon, stood before them, her expression stern. "I saw that you all started fighting as soon as you were together. There was noise coming from outside, so I called you all inside," she began, her tone sharp.

"I was in no mood to meet with you all," Hana continued, her eyes narrowing at the older siblings.

"But why, Mom? Why were you in no mood to see us?" Taewoon and Jung asked, their voices full of concern.

Hana's expression softened as she looked at her young sons. "Oh no, my princes, I really wanted to meet you. I'm talking about your elder siblings," she explained, pulling them into a warm hug. "I missed you too."

"We missed you, Mama," the twins said as they hugged her tightly.

Hana smiled sweetly. "My dear princes, your mama missed you so much as well." She kissed their foreheads. "But now, you two go outside. I need to talk to your older siblings."

"Okay, Mama," they said obediently, before heading out of the office.

As soon as the twins left, Hana's expression hardened again. "You all started fighting immediately. What is going on?"

"I didn't start the fight," Novelle quickly defended herself.

"Mom, Yuri didn't start anything; we were just joking around," Namwoon added.

Jinwoo interjected, "First of all, Mom, you should ask her why she killed that man without consulting us. Was that really necessary?"

Novelle's expression became stern. "I had to kill him, Jinwoo. He was a threat to us, and sometimes you have to make quick decisions in this line of work."

Jinwoo smirked. "Come on, Yuri, you're capable of handling things on your own, but you should still consult us."

Haru, sensing the tension, tried to shift the conversation. "Anyway, Mom, I wanted to discuss whether we should start training Jung and Taewoon in combat skills."

Novelle's eyes flared with anger as she glared at Jinwoo. "Don't you dare touch them, Jinwoo. If you lay a finger on them, I will kill you myself."

She then called out to Kai, "Take them both home now."

Hana stepped in, her voice calm but firm. "Yuri, you've become more aggressive lately. Listen to us first—we didn't mean what you think."

"Did you hear Jinwoo? He's already talking about killing!" Novelle retorted.

Namwoon tried to soothe the situation. "No, Jinwoo was only talking about giving them fighting lessons so they can defend themselves. We just want them to feel strong, not weak."

Novelle sighed, her anger subsiding a bit. "Fine, you can train them in self-defense, but nothing more. No violence."

"Oh, you look so scary when you're angry, Yuri. We're really scared," Jinwoo teased, trying to lighten the mood.

Hana shook her head. "Alright, enough of this. I have work to do. You all can leave now."

They all exited the office and moved to the sitting room. There was a moment of silence as they exchanged glances, each lost in thought.

Yuri broke the silence by turning to Haru. "Wouldn't you be bored at home since Jung and Taewoon are always with you?"

Haru smiled. "Not at all. Those two keep me entertained."

Jinwoo, with a mischievous grin, added, "By the way, Yuri, don't you think it's time you found a boyfriend?"

Novelle frowned. "I don't need one, Jinwoo."

Jinwoo then looked between Haru and Novelle. "Speaking of relationships, Haru and I have been dating for a while now."

Before Novelle could react, Jinwoo leaned over and kissed Haru deeply. Novelle's face twisted in anger.

"I'm leaving. Don't do these things in front of my younger brothers," she snapped.

"They're our brothers too, Yuri. We know how to handle them," Haru said, trying to calm her down.

Namwoon stepped in. "Yuri, let them stay here for a while. If you leave now, they'll just be upset with you."

Novelle hesitated, then sighed. "Fine, but you two stop doing that in front of them."

Jinwoo and Haru pulled away from each other. "Alright, we'll behave," Jinwoo said with a chuckle.

Novelle rubbed her temples. "You two are giving me a headache with all this."

Namwoon smiled. "If you're getting a headache, I'll get you some medicine. Or maybe some coffee?"

"Coffee would be nice," Novelle replied.

Jinwoo, still in a playful mood, added, "Yes, get some coffee for our angry Yuri."

Namwoon left to get the coffee while the others stayed behind. Moments later, a man walked through the door, his presence commanding immediate attention. "Look who's here—our Yuri."

"Dad," Yuri said, her tone softening as she greeted him. "It's been a long time."

This was Yoon Dae, the Chairman of the Yoon Group, father to Jinwoo, Namwoon, Jung, and Taewoon, and stepfather to Novelle and Haru.

"Dad, you need to tell her she's been angry with us ever since she arrived," Jinwoo said, feigning hurt.

Yoon Dae looked at Novelle. "Yuri doesn't get angry without a reason. What did you do to upset her?"

Haru quickly jumped in. "Father, it's nothing serious. We were just joking around."

Yoon Dae sighed. "Haru, you're starting to sound like Jinwoo with all this joking."

Novelle decided to change the subject. "By the way, where are my two princes?"

"They're playing in the garden. I'll call them in," Yoon Dae offered.

He stepped outside and called for Jung and Taewoon. The boys ran up to him and hugged him tightly. "We missed you, Dad!"

Yoon Dae beamed. "I missed you both too, my princes."

The boys sat on their father's lap as Namwoon returned with coffee for Novelle. "Both your sons gave me a headache today, Dad. Honestly, my head is killing me."

Yoon Dae chuckled. "What did they do this time?"

Novelle took a sip of her coffee. "They're just being themselves, that's all. I swear, they should be released from the madhouse."

Jinwoo grinned. "You're just mad because we're gay."

Yoon Dae, with a serious expression, replied, "So what if they are? It's perfectly normal."

"But, Dad, they're gay," Jinwoo repeated, trying to provoke a reaction.

Novelle sighed, shaking her head at her brother's antics. "By the way, Dad, I wanted to ask you something. Was the chairman of the LA Group your childhood rival?"

Yoon Dae's face darkened slightly. "Yes, he's my cousin. When we were younger, he was always one step ahead, and our family constantly compared me to him."

Novelle nodded, taking another sip of her coffee. "On a lighter note, the LA Group sent us an invitation for a family party."

Yoon Dae looked surprised. "A family party? What's the occasion?"

Before Novelle could respond, Hana entered the room. "I'll tell you why. The party was organized because your stepfather is Russian, and the chairman of the LA Group is Russian as well."

Novelle blinked in surprise. "Oh wow, you're Russian, Dad? You never told us."

Yoon Dae smiled. "Yes, my mother was Russian, but I grew up in Korea."

Jinwoo chimed in, "I completed all my studies in Russia."

Novelle, still curious, asked, "So why was this party organized?"

Hana answered for her husband. "Your stepfather wants you to go to Russia and take over his business there."

Novelle looked puzzled. "Why not send Jinwoo?"

Yoon Dae's expression became serious. "Because I have more faith in you than I do in Jinwoo."
