Chapter 3: Yasaka's Duty

"W-Where am I? L-Lucias?"

Yasaka asked as she looked around the infinite space of pure darkness around her with tears at the corner of her eyes.

Suddenly a powerful vortex was created inside the space, revealing an ethereal beauty landing in front of her with a large frown visible on her beautiful face.

"Kitsune, you're bravery is praiseworthy for laying your hand on my husband..."

The 'creator' angrily shouted at Yasaka as the space around her distorted causing her to tremble in fear while protectively covering the 8 month fetus in her womb.

"... As a mother myself, I know how you feel, Kitsune...that is why I'll give you one more chance to redeem yourself since you were pure when you gave yourself to Lucias"

The 'creator' said causing Yasaka to continuously nod her in response multiple time as she couldn't speak due to her fear, trembling while looking at the 'creator'.

"... Do you love my husband, Kitsune?"

Yasaka immediately nodded her head as she knew even if she lied, the being in front of her will definitely notice her true feeling towards Lucias so she decided to tell her the truth.

"Then... offer your entire existence for him, but... I want you to be the existence that will protect him from this same situation happening twice. Am I clear, Kitsune?"

The 'creator' says in a deep and ethereal, staring at the trembling Kitsune kneeling down in front of her, vigorously nodding her head in response.

"Good, you shall only procreate with him when I said so Kitsune, that is the privaledge for monitoring his actions for me"

The 'creator' muttered causing Yasaka to look at her in shock from hearing her words.

"Remember my words, Kitsune"

The 'creator' stayed before pulling her soul back to her body before releasing a tired sigh as Death entered his realm to check on her situation.

"..."

Death stared at her silent mother, staring at an empty spot inside her realm.

"The 'creator'... If your upset... then why won't you just create a scenario where she can be eliminated?"

Death asked as she stared at the displeased 'creator' staring at Yasaka's original spot inside the realm of death.

"I cannot for your father is getting stronger day by day... The number of methods I can perform to eliminate that Kitsune is limited"

The 'creator' muttered as she snapped her fingers projecting infinite possibilities that she predicted that might happen when Yasaka gives birth to his child.

"Can't you just pull their soul here permanently until they're body dies?"

"You underestimate his allies far too much for this woman names Valerie Tepes can manipulate the realm of both Life and Death as she pleases, and now... many of his subordinates like the grim reapers can manipulate the souls from the realm of death as they pleases... And if I create a powerful being that kills through stealth or illusion then that woman named Beelzebub will be able to see through it easily"

"But 'creator' can't you just remove those skills from them?"

"I cannot or else... 'they' will move. They're already satisfied with everything that I created, if I displeased them... then I'll end up like your father of the past. Weakened from trying to destroy something they deem as significant"

The 'creator' patiently explained before pointing at the projection of Lucias beside her.

"As your father grow stronger, the more my actions are restrained... Even if I create a powerful being that might crush them all... I cannot risk your father's safety due to my own selfishness... If he dies, his existence will be erased. That is the life of an Origin like me..."

"But you told us that races such as yourself cannot die"

"An Origin cannot die but your father is still nothing more than part of the mortal realm... He must ascend to the realm of Destruction for his body to become... completely indescribable. And only one being is capable of such feats as erasing the existence of one Origin... and those are the beings that lived even beyond when existence is defined in this reality"

The 'creator' said in a bitter smile, remembering what does beings did to her own husband.

"I am not the Origin of Destruction, that is why I don't have the power to erase something that I created for that is outside my realm. Only destruction is capable of such feats but now... his still far too weak to assume his responsibilities as an Origin. I can only remove his skill by placing it in another vessel and transfering it back to him"

"That is the reason why I told him,' you cannot procreate with any of the girls until you stand by my side as an equal'. I won't be able to do anything in my power to get rid of them at that point..."

"Then doesn't that mean that..."

Death muttered in shock from her mother's plan to control her father to keep pushing forward to get stronger.

"Right now, he can procreate with any of the women in his harem, and there's nothing much I could do to to stop it, I can only cause them to faint for a short period of time without dealing a significant amount of damage in their body, except for what I did with that nekoshou. That is why I have to hide some of the truth from him to limit it until he stands by my side as my equal... As my husband and a father for our daughter"

"For the 'creator' to lie to him..."

"Despite my disgust towards lies, I have no choice but to use it in this situation... I have to manipulate his thoughts and mind to keep him pushing forward"

Death stayed silent, staring at her mother with her lifeless jet black eyes while holding her giant scythe with her right hand.

"Lucias has already grown attached to me due to our procreation from before and our daughter, and if I ever get impregnated once again... I can rely on that Kitsune to satisfy his lust for me"

The 'creator' muttered in her usual expressionless face before gazing at the sleeping baby Hanna inside the realm of death.

"I don't think that his that kind of person, 'creator'"

Death retorted as she gazed at Hanna sleeping comfortably on the bed.

"You are correct, my child. You're father is not the type of person the is motivated due to her cardial desires, he truly loved the girls as a person... Now they are not the only beings that he gains motivation from"

The 'creator' muttered before gently carrying her daughter in her arm, opening a large vortex connecting the realm of death to her own.

"Now he strives to become stronger for the people that he leads... and for me and our daughter. I can't interfere too much but... I'm happy that I was able to establish a strong relationship with him for all this years"

"It's such a shame that I cannot remove the feelings that they feel towards him for that can only be done by Destruction himself"

"Nee Mama, what are you thinking about?"

Hanna pulled her mother's sleeve with a curious expression on her face as she stared at gentle expression on her mother's face.

"Nothing, Hanna, I was just remembering the past, isn't that right Lucias Frey?"

The creator asked while staring at her husband with a genuine smile on her face while watching him play with their daughter.

"... Our past meeting is quite... extraordinary"

"It seems like I need to have a heart and heart conversation with you again, Lucias Frey"

"How cute~"

Iris muttered while looking at the girls wearing a white long-sleeved, button-down shirt with vertical linings, a black ribbon on the collar, a black shoulder cape and matching button-down corset, and a magenta skirt with white accents.

"It looks great on you, Lucias"

Asia praised as she gazed at Lucias wearing a black blazer with white accents over a white, long-sleeved, button-down shirt with vertical linings, a black ribbon on the collar, matching black pants, and brown dress shoes.

In his hands are white glove that covers the 9 sealing rings on his finger to surprises both his charm and aura from leaking out of his body as a large ring with a crystal carved into a crown was on ring finger of his right hand. Indicating that he is already engaged to someone.

"Lucias, are you really wearing our engagement ring to school?"

"Yeah, it helps me deal when 'that' situation occurs"

Lucias answered while adjusting the glove in his hand.

"Ara Ara, you mean when you were bombarded with girls when you went on a date with Asia?"

Shuri teased while covering her lips with her hand, patting the head of both Est by her side eating the leftovers of their breakfast.

"... Est, I told you not to eat that. I could've just asked us if you're hungry"

Lucias said as he stared at Est while Asia fixed his ribbon for him before they head out.

"Do not waste food, Lucias. In my time, I experienced eating nothing for centuries from my 2nd master because of how scares food was in the past"

She said causing Lucias to take out his black credit card and give it to her without hesitation.

"You can buy whatever you want with that credit card. If it's not enough just travel to our bank and withdraw as much as you want"

Lucias patted her head, ignoring the strange stares of the girls around him.

"... You're sense of money is weird, Lucias"

Iris said with a wry smile on her face before taking the credit card from Est's hand.

"I'll manage what she buys... We don't want her buying an entire restaurant"

"... You spoil your spirits too much, Lucias"

Both Iris and Shuri sighed at the same time, looking at him in worry for his future children, not knowing that he already have one in Kyoto. 

"Lucias Frey, this aspect of your personality is worying?"

The 'creator' muttered inside his head while holding their daughter in her embrace, watching Lucias together from a giant projection she created.

"Papa is so generous"

The sweet voice of her daughter echoed inside his head, causing him to unconsciously smile.

"If you don't fix this aspect of yours, I won't allow you see our daughter, Lucias Frey"

Her cold and emotionless voiced echoed inside his head causing the smile on his face to freeze in place.

"All of you should leave for school now or you'll be late"

Iris says with a smile causing all of them to grab their bags before walking towards the gate of the mansion.

"We'll be off"

Lucias waved his at the remaining people inside the mansion before following the girls towards school.

"Be careful on way, alright?"

Shuri reminded while waving her arm at them, watching them exit the gates with a soft smile on her face.

"Let's go inside, Cerberus"

Iris patted the heads of the three demon dogs happily wagging their tail while watching Lucias leave the gates of their mansion.

"I'm hungry"

Est muttered as she followed them inside the mansion while holding the empty plate in her hands.

"We will order takeout so be patient alright?"

Shuri says in a gentle voice as she held her soft and small hand before entering the mansion.

"... Wait... Where's Kuroka?"
