Chapter 40 - His Strange Behavior

Ashleigh's POV

I woke up like I was a newborn baby. It was as if my sleep was complete again. And I'm ready to dive into another day. I immediately got up and stretched then walked to my little balcony. I stretched there again until I heard someone speak.

"I think your sleep was too good, young lady." I heard him say.

I immediately panicked and covered my face.

"Ohh, Why? Is there a problem?" he asked calmly as he sat on his balcony.

I can feel the blushing on my cheek. Why is it that this man suddenly appears like this?

It was also a few minutes before I calmed down.

"Isn't it today your classmate Jasper's party?" he asked as he leaned against the steel of his balcony.

"Hmm, yes... It's about six o'clock tonight." I said and then I fixed myself.

"Are you really excited?" he asked calmly again.

I smiled and then turned away from him to go inside.
