Agenor's hand gripped Syrena's chin so they looked at each other. He waited for the princess's answer.
"Have you had an appointment with someone?" asked Agenor.
"No ... no ..!" Syrena shook her head quickly.
"So?"
"Yes, I want to go with you tonight."
Syrena's answer made Agenor smile. The man became more handsome. If only he had kept smiling all day, maybe Syrena wouldn't have been scared the first time she met him.

As Agenor had promised, tonight he and Syrena would watch the lantern show. In the afternoon they took a walk to enjoy the beauty of the palace gardens and then saw the bustling market in the city centre.
While walking in the market, Agenor immediately became the centre of attention. Many of them looked in awe at the wings of the second prince Lagardioz. But some looked at him with fear because of his long nails.
