The hall was bustling with noise, a group of middle-aged men were sitting around a huge table with a very serious atmosphere Indulged in a Discussion.

"Loei kingdom has been increasing their military power recently they are obviously preparing for something big this time."

"Our spies sent news that Cain Escardos is creating new magic device that can defend against all kind of magic, and he is making improvement."

"We have to do something before the device is made if we let them finish it our kingdom will likely lose the battle to obtain the Mystic Forest."

" I agree with the left minister if this go on it may not be the Mystic Forest only they may even have ideas about our kingdom, the king of Loei is greedy to the bone something must be done, what do you say my king ?"

A man in his 40s was sitting in the main seat he had blond hair, a pair of sharp hazel eyes and dignified aura. Closing his eyes for a moment he opened them again giving a complicated gaze to his ministers "something indeed have to be done, but we can't afford to be open about it .our Military force be it soldiers or magicians is one pair with Loei kingdom military if we fight them even if we win there will be too many losses, we will lose more than what will win."

With that being said silence swept inside the conference hall, the ministers were all gloomy and lost in thoughts. This will become a very dangerous situation if their thoughts about Loei kingdom were true.

"My King if we can't deal with the Loei kingdom directly we have at least stop them from making the magic device. "

" Yes the device pause a big problem for us if we let them finish it I can't imagine the outcomes."

" I think we should send someone to destroy it and if possible steal it, if we could have it we won't just have the upper hand in the battle of the Mystic Forest we will have an absolute defense ability against any kind of attack that may befall us in the future."

Hearing his Minister idea the king eyes shone with greed, but they dimmed as soon as a cold arrogant figure flashed in his mind "is that even possible ? You want to steal something under Cain Escardos nose ? Who the hell is capable enough to do so ?"

"..."

" That's..."

Take it under his nose ? Who have the guts to do so? Wouldn't they be digging their own graves ?

The last time someone tried to take his device was the king of Loei he was stupid enough to think that he wouldn't pay for it as he was the king, so he sent people to take a device he was interested in when Cain Escardos wasn't around under the pretence of words "the kingdom need it" little did he except the great wizard to pay him a visit half an hour after he got it,destroying half of his palace in the process.

He has no respect for anybody nor regard to a person status he will beat up anyone who displease him, with such a character he will very possibly wipe out their kingdom in a fit of anger.

Thinking about it carefully they couldn't help but shiver.

"My king I think we are overlooking something important here, even if we manage to take the device don't you think that the great wizard will be able to build it again or maybe he will build something that can break the defense of the magic device, he is capable and doesn't lack money or material in the end our problem is Cain Escardos himself not the device as long as he is around the threat will never really disappear."

" The left minister words are true as long as Cain Escardors remains taking the device or destroying it is a temporary solution."

" My king if I may, I think this situation isn't that bad for us in fact this is a great Opportunity that may not come by again in the future."

King Augestra eyes light up hearing this "strategist Eizen what is your thoughts on the matter ?"

" If we play our cards right we can resolve this situation for good, we can use targeting the device as camouflage while our real target will be the great wizard, as you have said who would dare to have any thought to harm him ?

They will never expect us to target his life.

We can send people to steal the device and alarm them if they are on their guard their focus will be on the device only, it will be the perfect time to send someone under cover to get close to him when he is close enough the opportunity to assassinate him will come by on its own."

"Strategist Eizen is indeed wise, but we still have a problem, who is the person that can carry the mission ?"

There isn't someone that capable in their kingdom.

" Of course the Archmage" strategist Eizen answered without any hesitation.

" What !? The Archmage ? , but she lost to him every time in the five kingdoms Magic Competition."

" that's true she always got 2nd place in the Magic competition."

every 3 years that competition happens, the Archmage participated 3 times every time she lost in the final to the same person what make it worse she was defeated by the same spell in the 3 times.

" You said it yourself that was a competition we are talking about sneak attack I think she is capable to carry this mission,what is your view about this my king ? ."

King Augestra who was calculating the pros and cons of the plan took a deep breath "we don't have much choice we will go with this plan."

This is the best plan they could comes out with, its failure or success will depends on the Archmage effort .

" Guards summon the Archmage tell her its urgent matter."
