"Monster!!" "Evil! You deserve death!" "Bring justice for Lady Damascus! Kill the witch!" Their screams echoed through my ears. I couldn't get enough sleep because of people trying to barge into my property. "Haa, I knew you shouldn't have gone to that cunning woman's invitation. Look what had become of you!" Sia scolded, abruptly dropping the food on the table. "If I knew she would pretend to be poisoned, I wouldn't have gone there. I'm sorry for worrying you Sia." I replied. I was distraught by people's scream. I wanted to go out and scold them. I want to make them leave. But... it is not something I can do. Although I had the same appearance as the Lady Winchester of Nightingale Kingdom. I was far from being her. I am just a witch from a faraway land called Valley of Magissa. It was far from here and there was no way to return. All the sinners who committed atrocious crime are sent to this world as per the priestess' wish. Lady Mira Megistus personally sent me to this world as a punishment for failing to create a simple potion. It was rather absurd to be sent here for such a reason but I felt quite blessed because this world... was much kinder to me. "I don't know anymore. My head hurts thinking about this mess! You should stay inside for now. I'll talk to my father and see what I can do." Sia said before banging the door shut, leaving me alone on this castle built with high walls. My workers are afraid to be caught up in the mess, thus everyone resigned and left me all alone in this dark castle for days. I only had Sia, Walls, doors and gates to trust. Except for that, I had nothing. I knew that the original Wynter Winchester had a family but not even once had they come to visit me throughout my suffering so I learned to rely on myself and my magic. In this world, magic is unusual. Having magic means that your destiny is already set. The Genius of Century, Powerful warrior, unrivaled beauty. Those are what people think about magic. Wynter Winchester was born with magic so she was constantly treated as a threat. Eyes full of envy looks her way wherever she goes. Same occurrence of having to deal with envious eyes and stereotypes. She had slowly grown tired and isolated herself from both people and her family. Thus, she lived in a barren land away from people not to be bothered again. But because of one invitation, once again. She was pulled to the place she wanted to avoid.
