It's been a while hanky...

The moment kara took of she flew high in the sky so she could scout the burning building. sadly not even 10 minutes into flight she felt a sting on her shoulder. Looking right see she's a silver dart glowing green.

Kara' how could this..,' she didn't even have time to process as 2 more darts hit her abdomen and chest. Feeling extremely weak she blacked out and started free falling to the ground at s rapid speed.

The moment she was about to hit the concrete a weak light enveloped kara slowing down her decent to as slow as a feather.

2 minutes later

Target" Target secured sir."

Intercom" well done, return to base."

PANTING)

(GRUNTING)

waking up groggily kara searches around her to find any clues as to what was happening. She tries to move but is handcuffed to a table.

Hank" Made of low-grade Kryptonite. Radioactive mineral from your home planet. It weakens you."

(PANTING)

Kara" Where... Where am I?"

Kara" Who are you?"

Hank" Name is Hank Henshaw. And I believe you already know Agent Danvers."

Alex" She doesn't need those." After taking off the handcuffs Alex tried to help her sister up but kara just slaps it away and stand up on her own. and follows hank who asks her to follow.

Hank" Welcome to the DEO, the Department of Extranormal Operations. The DEO monitors and protects Earth from extraterrestrial presence and/or invasion. That means you. Your ship."

Kara doesn't answer him and looks at an object she recognises well.

Hank" We keep it here as a reminder of the day you crashed on Earth. You're the reason for all of this."

Kara" My... But my cousin was here two dozen years before me."

Hank" And it was his arrival that triggered the need for this organization. We realized we weren't alone in the universe and we might soon be getting more immigrants. Sure enough, you came along. And with you, Fort Rozz.

Kara" Fort Rozz?"

Hank" Krypton's maximum-security prison. Banished to the Phantom Zone, same place your ship got stuck. But just like yours, it didn't stay there. We're not sure how your pod got loose. What we do know is this. You pulled Fort Rozz with you."

Alex" For over a decade they've stayed hidden. But in the last year, many have been emerging, making themselves known. They're planning something. We're just not sure what it is yet."

Hank" How? You couldn't even stop us from capturing you."

Kara" I'm still learning."

Hank" Our job is keeping people in the dark about alien life on Earth, and nothing says "covert operation" like a flying woman in a red skirt."

Kara" They know about my cousin, they don't fear him."

Hank" Plenty of people do, just not popular to admit it. You wanna help? Go back to getting someone's coffee." Kara was just about to retort when suddenly she felt a vibration then A beep on her wrist sounded off.

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP.

Everyone is looking at her, while she smiles embarrassingly. She tapped the chrome black bracelet and says in a hurried manner.

Kara " What is it kai."

kai " There was no news about you so I got worried. But listening to your voice it looks like your fine."

Hank who heard that voice froze up for a good second then quickly getting a note pad he wrote"

"That wouldn't be kai Allen by any chance miss kara would it." and showed it to kara.

Alex and everyone around was able to see what he wrote and were confused as to who this kai Allen is.

Kara was also confused but she didn't miss the accelerated heartbeat of hank that would only show when you're scared of someone. With those thoughts, kara decided to gamble.

Kara looked right at hank with a good luck look. Everyone was confused why kara smiled but hank somehow knew what that smile meant and wanted to stop kara from speaking any further, but it was too late.

Kara " I'm fine but as I was on the mission I was shot down by my sister and taken to someplace called the D.E.O. The Department of Extra-Normal Operations by the order of someone named hank Henshaw." there was complete silence on both sides. No one knows why, but they could feel a really heavy atmosphere especially from hank who is staring daggers at kara.

Kai " ...hehe...HEAHAHEHAHAHeHaHeHaheh so after all this time little hanky-panky grew some balls. Hey, Kara if your leaving give the armband to hank if he's still there. I really would love to catch up."

Kara " As a matter of fact he's here right now. I'll be going home now I'll see you later kai." Saying so she threw the armband at hank and started to walk away while Alex chased her.

Hank who received the device calmed his breath before saying " It's been a while Mr Allen" kai didn't respond and there was a defining silence that could make anyone feel awkward.

Kai" I'll give you two minutes to think of an excuse or else I'm coming down there personally."

Hank' kara if I get the chance, you will pay.'

Alex " I know you're mad and you're hurt. I wanted to tell you every single day."

Kara" No, instead, you told me every single day not to be who I really am."

Alex" You have to listen to me."

Kara" I can't! This just kind of feels like one big coincidence, doesn't it? You working here, hunting down aliens, me being one? I... I can't help but think the real reason that you were recruited was because of me."

Alex" They recruited me because my background in bio-engineering makes me an expert on alien physiology. And, yeah, it helps that I shared a bathroom with one."

Kara" I'm leaving now. Unless you wanna try and stop me. Which I wouldn't."

Alex" sigh. " Staring at her sisters back, she really doesn't know what to do. Looking back at her leader who was kneeling down in front of an armband and apologising continuously. she was even more confused and decided to just go and drink some alcohol to relieve her stress.
