Becoming The Maid

A few days after the deal she made with Maeve materialised, Este told Harmony and Stephanie about it. After all, these two were the people who had also raised him. He felt they deserved to know about his decision.

"You have decided to leave the opera?" Harmony was taken aback by Este's sudden words.

"Yeah, I have to live my own life from now on. Harmony, you said yourself that opera is the most dangerous place for a girl who has just grown up to live," Este said.

"Calm down. I will be a maid," said Este.

"A maid?" Stephanie looked quite surprised to hear that.

"It is true. But what if I become a very ugly maid? Then I don't have to worry about it at all," said Este.

"Are you going to live with this appearance even after leaving the opera? Aren't you going to remove the makeup you always wear?" alluded Harmony.

Este nodded at Harmony's words. "Yes. And I will transform myself either with the appearance of my face or in the clothes I wear. They won't dare to come near me."

Stephanie asked the girl in a worried voice, "Do you think you can work well if you feel uncomfortable?"

"I'm not in a position to be able to choose," Este muttered. This girl recalls when her fate changed fifteen years ago, and an angel transferred her soul to the body of a five-year-old child. Thinking about that ridiculous thing makes her sound crazy.

"Yes. I recently heard that Maire has just become Prince Carl Zeiss' girlfriend as she wanted to be," Harmony said.

"Oh really? But how long has that been going on? The prince is famous for his hot love life," said Stephanie.

"I don't know, but Maire said she was sure she could reach the position of a concubine. The woman's self-confidence is so high that I can't see anything else from her but great determination," she explained.
