Chapter 138: I Didn’t Expect That Totsuki Also Has Such a Talent!

Professor John was visibly shocked. "Are you certain?" he asked.

Aimisha nodded firmly. "Yes, the taste is much better than the milk from Dolaris No. 1 that you bred, Professor."

This revelation stunned not only Professor John but also those around him.

After all, Professor John was a renowned expert in food breeding. Dolaris No. 1 was a cow he had painstakingly developed, integrating the genes of several of the world's top dairy cows. These cows consumed the finest grass daily and produced extraordinarily sweet milk. Who would've thought that Totsuki Academy had produced cows capable of generating even better milk?

"Mr. Nakiri, I never imagined that Totsuki's breeding techniques had advanced to such a level," Professor John said in a low voice, turning to Senzaemon.

Senzaemon blinked in mild surprise. While Totsuki did have a food research department, it wasn't particularly advanced in the area of ingredient cultivation. The Nakiri International Research Institute's primary focus was on molecular cuisine, which utilized scientific technology to create the most delicious dishes. Food cultivation, however, was not part of their purview.

"No, I've heard that this was cultivated by a student," Aimisha interjected, casting her gaze toward Sui.

"Oh?" Professor John's attention, along with everyone else's, shifted to Sui.

"I didn't expect you to be capable of cultivating ingredients as well, boyā." Leonora exclaimed in surprise.

"Indeed, Sui's milk is delicious," Alice chimed in, handing the bottle of milk to her mother that Sui had given her earlier.

Leonora poured herself a small cup, took a sip, and a flash of astonishment crossed her face. "It's truly delicious. Father, you should try some too."

Senzaemon, intrigued, poured himself a glass. "The quality is indeed outstanding," he declared, growing even more impressed with Sui.

Initially, Senzaemon had only thought of Sui as a talented chef, but now he realized the young man also possessed remarkable talent in ingredient cultivation.

Chapelle, the host in charge of the exchange, also sampled the milk and was equally amazed.

Although Totsuki students were well-known for growing and preparing their own food, even they were taken aback. For example, Isshiki Satoshi had his own vegetable garden at Polaris Lodge, aiming to grow the highest quality produce. Yoshino raised small animals in the hope of breeding chickens as high-quality as the Bresse breed. Similarly, Ryoko specialized in fermenting foods to enhance their quality.

Even Professor John and the other instructors from the exchange group tasted the milk.

"Your school is truly filled with talent," Professor John admitted, though his expression darkened slightly. He had invested so much effort into breeding his own cows, yet the milk produced by a Totsuki student surpassed his own.

Though he was eager to learn the specifics of Sui's cultivation methods, he knew it was unlikely the other side would share such information.

"I'm looking forward to tasting the dishes you prepare," Professor John said, his tone deepening. "This time, we'll be using high-quality ingredients we've cultivated ourselves. I hope to see more of what you've produced."

Sui nodded, then headed out with Erina and the others to prepare lunch for Senzaemon, Leonora, and the instructors from the exchange group.

They entered a nearby kitchen.

"The other side clearly wants to compete with us, Totsuki," Erina said seriously. "If our dishes don't surpass theirs, it'll reflect poorly on the academy. So I hope you won't hold back."

"Don't worry, we'll put forth our best effort," Isshiki replied with a smile.

Everyone then went to gather their ingredients.

Isshiki picked vegetables from his garden, and Sui selected some fantasy ingredients.

"Do you need any ingredients, Erina?" Sui asked.

"Do you still have any of that honey from last time?" Erina asked without hesitation.

"Of course," Sui replied, retrieving a jar of honey made by Combees.

As soon as Erina opened it, a rich floral fragrance filled the air.

Momo, who was nearby, couldn't help but fix her gaze on the jar.

"Sui! I knew you were hiding good stuff. You're giving it to Erina but not me?" Alice teased, walking up in mock annoyance.

"Nonsense. She's my girlfriend. Of course I'd give her the best," Sui retorted with a playful eye roll.

Erina blushed slightly, a shy smile appearing on her face, mixed with a hint of happiness.

Alice dipped her finger into the honey, tasted it, and her eyes sparkled. "It's so sweet and fragrant!"

Momo, watching intently, couldn't resist any longer.

"Sui, could you give me some too?" she asked.

"Sure," Sui responded generously, surprising Momo with his easy-going nature.

"I want some too!" Alice chimed in, pestering Sui. "You can't just give it to Erina and Momo-senpai!"

"Alice, stop being so unreasonable!" Erina scolded, gritting her teeth in irritation.

"Erina, are you jealous?" Alice teased with a grin.

"I'm not jealous!" Erina snapped, her cheeks flushing red.

"Alright, alright, I'll give you some too," Sui relented, handing over a portion to Alice.

Satisfied, Alice happily ran off to savor the honey.

"Alice, aren't you going to cook?" Erina asked.

"I'm not part of the Elite Ten, so I'll just sit back and enjoy the food," Alice said with a mischievous smile, licking the honey off her finger.

"By the way, Sui, could I get some of that cabbage you gave me last time?" Isshiki asked.

"Of course," Sui replied, displaying no hesitation in sharing his prized ingredients for the sake of Totsuki's reputation.

"Thanks," Isshiki said appreciatively.

An hour quickly passed as Sui and the others each prepared a dish.

Alice sat on the kitchen counter, legs crossed, lazily licking honey and curiously watching the proceedings.

"Erina-sama, are you finished? The commander and his guests are waiting in the private dining room," Hisako informed them as she walked in.

"We're ready," Erina nodded, and with Sui and the others, they began bringing the dishes out.
