Anguish....

Wilson didn't particularly know where to run to, but he kept running. He didn't know what was going on back there, but he was confident in his brother and king's strength. Even though their enemy seemed quite strong, he doubted the man would stand a chance against the two duo. Them losing was just inconceivable. It just wasn't possible.

He had finally thought up of a destination and he headed straight for the place. 'Harry' his mind had screamed for him and soon his legs were hurrying towards the man's place. He was the only person he could think of, and lived closest to them. He would contact his brother as soon as he reached there and let him know they were safe.

He felt uneasy but he didn't know why. Something seemed out of place , and he was being engulfed in this big ocean of uneasiness. He couldn't help but feel that his brother was in trouble, but at the same time he failed to be able to conceive any thoughts regarding the two men losing. It was just not possible..

Justin ran closely behind Ashley. He could still run a lot faster, but he didn't. He wanted to watch his sister closely and that was what he was going to do. Something had been on his mind ever since the arrival of the new figure amongst them. He didn't know if the others have managed to connect the dots, or maybe they were just being ignorant of an obvious fact. It had been on his mind ever since he learnt about James's background and all. It was hard to believe, but from everything he knew, this boy was a relative of theirs.

He had convinced himself that the boy was lying, but he hadn't seen anything that might solidify his accusations. The boy's words were truer than anything he could imagine, and that realization made his body curl with disgust.

The Guilds were horrible creatures that prioritized their satisfaction above human life. They were ready to kill and and commit all sort of atrocities just for powers they wouldn't even use for good. They were disgusting, and considering them as humans was painting humanity bad. They were horrible creatures, and that was why imagining one of them as family was just too difficult for him.

He managed to shake the thoughts of James from his head and focused on chasing after Wilson. Things never went his way so he was getting accustomed to this type of life. Trouble always followed him, and beginning to be stressed out by the constant attacks. He didn't want Ashley being involved in any crossfire.

He knew he was worrying a bit too much, but he just couldn't help himself. He was supposed to be the one protecting his sister. But things were going the opposite way. Ashley was already getting good with her gift, and soon he would be the one that needed protection.

His eyes narrowed to the running boy in front of him and he felt a wave of anger wash through his body. Even though he didn't know much about the two groups, he was convinced that the Guild was definitely the bad one. He didn't need any reasons for their actions. The deeds they had done just couldn't be justified. He wasn't sure yet, but he could swear that the guild definitely had something to do with his parents death.

Charles had just received a text from Wilson informing him of their current location. King was still unconscious, and he was still in turmoil for running away from a fight. It was something he had never imagined doing, but even with his abilities he hadn't been able to see them winning the fight.

He was mad at both himself and King. He had never for once thought of running away even when he couldn't see a chance of them winning. It was already humiliating enough that they were two against one person, and now the shame of defeat had also been added to that humiliation. He hadn't expected someone as powerful as their opponent, but at the same time he wasn't planning on running away too.

Something was definitely going on with the guild. Up until last month, he had never faced any of the top tiers in the cult, so why the sudden deployment of their strongest warriors. Even though it was obvious that the last opponent had come for revenge, there was no denying the fact that the masked man was definitely as strong as a grade one Advocate.

This was the first time he was encountering an opponent he couldn't beat in a long time. The ability of the last opponent was definitely troublesome and was beyond anything else he had encountered in the past. He couldn't imagine fighting an opponent without being able to breathe. It was just like Wilson's. While Wilson's ability began effect after the opponent lays eyes on his smoke, the farmer's began when one inhaled the scent of his blood.

Wilson was the direct counter to this man's ability. Not only will the scent of his cigarettes be able to interfere with the scent of the opponents blood, he might also be able to trap his opponents before they could even reach him. He hadn't imagined how dangerous of an ability Wilson possessed until now. What the boy needed now was training and he might just be able to take down the monster they had just faced.

He made his way towards Harry's place while doing his best to maintain his sanity. He had been using his foresight ever since they escaped to make sure he wasn't being followed, and he was beginning to feel the backlash of the ability having it's effect.

Even though he was sure the man wasn't on his trail, he couldn't really be sure he wasn't under an illusion. Such ability could tamper with his visions just like how the masked man's whip had made him faulty for a bit.

He was beginning to feel a bit powerless against the Guilds that were showing up recently. He didn't know how they were doing it, but somehow the ones he had faced so far had some sort of counter for his gift. He was beginning to realize just how much of a threat these Guild top tiers were. He and King had just been overwhelmed, and they were undoubtedly the strongest amongst the Advocates. He didn't want to imagine how powerful other Guild members were, all he could think of now was how to get stronger and be able to take them down.
