Chapter Four

Cassie knew that feeling.

Anytime she suddenly felt weak and sick and it wasn't her period or physical sickness, it was sleep calling her so she could dream about her future again and now she wondered what she was supposed to see that was so important.

"I don't want to drink anymore," she informed him with weak eyelids.

"Are you okay, Cassie?" He asked, placing his hand on her naked thigh.

What felt extraordinary wasn't just his touch on her thigh but his voice. She adored the way he called her name, Cassie.

"I'm exhausted," she replied. "May I just sleep in your car?" She requested.

"Sure after you tell me your address," he said.

Cassie looked at him, meeting his turquoise blue eyes that began to glint for no reason as he smirked at her. She smiled back and told him the address to her friend's house.

"All right," he nodded and returned to focusing on the road.

When Matthew looked back at her, she was already snoring. Such a beautiful lady snores?

Well, that didn't degrade the way he viewed her. She was an angel to him.

His hands were around her stomach as she tried to escape his charm in the dim room. Cassie had promised herself not to close her eyes and fall her head back but the moment he kissed her shoulder, she closed her eyes.

She saw herself wearing a pink sexy nightgown. Was she aiming to seduce him still after marriage?

Her dream made it clear to her that the scene was after their marriage. "Can we just stop?" She whispered.

"No, I've waited a long time for this," he answered and bent over only to carry her over to the bed.

He placed her gently on the bed. Cassie acknowledged her husband with his hands stroking her body and she could feel her body reacting with goosebumps, even her heart hammered as if she was exercising.

"You want a kiss?" He asked. "I know you want that kiss badly," he leaned down to kill the distance between her face and his.

And she wanted everything. Cassie was still affected by her previous relationship but when he brushed his lips on hers while massaging her scalp with his fingers, she yelled in her mind. 'Oh, fck it! I don't care!'

"Oh, yes, Husband. I do want that kiss," Cassie lifted her hand to invite him to devour her. And why would a man craving her for so long not devour her?

And then everything she saw was black. Cassandra didn't want to open her eyes but she was burning down there so she slowly parted her eyes with her brain processing her location.

What happened after she accepted the kiss? Did she get kissed? What was happening? Where was she?

However, Cassie had to jerk out of bed when she couldn't hold it anymore so she rushed to the bathroom and sat there for more than necessary because she hadn't recovered from her dream.

And still settled on the toilet bowl, she recalled her last activity in reality before going to sleep.

Wait, she was home?!

Getting hit by the fact, she looked around to see she was already in her room. When did she get home? She heaved a heavy sigh and now she was hungry after receiving her senses.

Did Mister carry her into her room because she was so perfectly placed in bed? No, she doubted that.

He didn't even react to her attempt in seducing him but she saw how stunned he was to see her. Thinking about him suddenly made her smile.

Frequent dreams about him for more than a month must have made it seem like she had a big strong bond with him.

And meeting him yesterday, she acted like they were already in a relationship. Any kind of connection and her attitude toward him yesterday was more like how acquaintances communicate.

That aside, she was hungry. After washing her hand, she walked out of the bathroom to meet her dim room. What really happened when she was asleep in his car?

Did he touch her?

Try to wake her up?

Speak to her even though she was asleep?

Watch her every second?

As questions kept piling in her mind she suddenly wished to know what he really did with her. Or perhaps he was just silent.

Cassie went to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator first before getting water to drink. She needed to ease her head from that mysterious future husband of hers.

Especially from the crazy scene, she saw again. This wasn't the first time she dreamt about him asking if she wanted that kiss and the dream she had now about their intimacy was short.

She didn't receive the hot kiss.

Gathering what to eat, Sandie entered the kitchen to fill her jug. "Heyo!" She started by teasing her.

"Hey?" Cassie furrowed her eyebrows and then thought about it. Sandie could tell her what happened. So she asked.

"Yes, he carried you to your room. I couldn't ask my boyfriend to do that."

She doesn't live with her boyfriend but he comes almost every night to have dinner and breakfast.

"However, that's fast. Just the first day and he's already following you like a dog." Filling her jug, Sandie said.

"No, he isn't following me. I guess he's just doing according to his heart just as I'm doing," Cassie wanted to rephrase but couldn't without explaining.

"Just be careful, he'll break your heart. And I don't want you to cry," Sandie walked to Cassie and kissed her before going. "Good night," she whispered.

The next day, Cassie didn't dress to kill. She dressed according to her mood but she still had a mini skirt that was blue with her shirt and her hair was styled in a ponytail not like yesterday when she let her hair fall on her shoulder.

Matthew had been waiting for her knocks and when the fourth person knocked on the door to his office that morning, he demanded that the person come in.

He didn't want to look because he doubted that it was Cassie but when he turned to face the direction of the door, he sighted the beauty he saw in his dream last night. And he smirked.
