Melody returned to her home the next day. She was currently going through the list of presents that were given to her by the guest on her birthday that she never had the chance to check before.
"Whose is this?" Melody picked up the black diamond pendant, it was beautiful and she hoped it wouldn't come from someone who would make her want to throw it away. She looked inside the gift box and found a little note, "Happy Birthday from your one true love," written inside and she rolled her eyes.
Mr. James went through the list once to see who had given the gift in that number. "The giver is Austin Noah," Mr. James informed.
Melody smiled when she heard that name and put the diamond around her neck. She could tell it costs a lot just looking at it alone. "It is thoughtful of him," she muttered and
