Story of Chancia 1.4

Aadrika was laying on the floor, curled into the ball, waiting for the piercing pain that will rip her body into two. She had closed her eyes and was waiting patiently, but that pain never came, instead, she heard gasps coming from the crowd. Through her lashes, she looked up and saw that her brother, Emilio has brought the sword down but it was stopped by an invisible field.

She looked at her surroundings in order to see the one, who stood up for her and she saw Gale coming to her and at once, she understood that it is Gale's air power. He smiled at her and she felt a genuine pain in her brother's eyes instead of his cheeky smile on the show, for everyone. He then looked up to Emilio and said in a very vicious tone: "Aren't you ashamed?" Emilio looked down with the guilt pouring from his eyes. Gale then started to reach for Aadrika but only to be stopped by Myra and Ximena.

Myra said "Don't be a fool brother, if you helped her, you'll found yourself in the same condition as her's. You know that she is traitor. She betrayed us and for God's sake, she is the dark stone holder. One who has dark powers." Gale looked at her in pure disgust, he lost his cool which he was keeping for rescuing Aadrika, but it looked like, this time Myar had crossed her limits, as it seemed that, to Gale. The harsh words which he was keeping in his mouth, came out on their own as he said "How much low can you people go? How much, huh? You are saying that she must be executed because she has dark powers. What's wrong in that? Everyone has their special powers, so what if she has a dark one. It doesn't prove her wrong enough to be executed, not at least for a sane person."

He looked around with pure disgust in his eyes and said "You people, who don't even know her, believe that she was Gerath in her past life. Really, how much of dumb you people can be? You are believing that a girl of age 16 was a cold-hearted killer in her past life. Even if she was, what then? The past is in past and she has already died for that." Myra, using her natural tone, interrupted him, "Can't you see, she has the whole dark stone inside her. You were there when we saw that she was flying in the air with dark stone giving her energy and then it started to go all the way in her. Dark stone is bad and it corrupted her, if she was pure ever, that I highly doubt she was."

Gale laughed in a very sarcastic tone and said "I don't care now, I don't care if she is a dark stone holder or not. I am at her side." Everyone gasped at his statement. Ximena looked at him and said, "Why do want to save her, she is nothing more than trouble...why would you ever try to save her? You know the dark stone is evil and it's not good for anyone, not even for its own friends." He looked Ximena with mouth wide open and said "Why would I? Why? Really? I thought you were better than that sisi." He continued, "I can't believe you would do something like that to her." He pointed at Aadrika who was covered in dust and her own blood, sitting naked, in a curled ball and having tears in her now normal-looking eyes.

His eyes, which were hard because of angry for all the people, now softened when he looked at her. He said in a very gentle tone "She, was a girl who was treated like a princess from birth. She hadn't walked on the ground without a carpet or ground specially made soft for her walking only, and now, she is bare feet. She was the most fragile thing, one could have ever seen in their life and now, she is being treated with most harsh treatment. She always had been in silk clothes and now she has no clothes on. She never had a single cut on her skin and now she is covered in wounds. She had always given special treatment and now you are just throwing her out like a dead fly from milk, why?" His eyes leaked tears and he looked at her with pain filling his eyes.

The whole hall went completely quiet and he continued "Now look, what you made her. Look what you made my sister. She has never thought her own family would do something like that to her." He fell on his knees and he threw all of his egos out of the castle and cried "I am sorry! I am so sorry sis, I couldn't do anything when they took you. I am sorry. I could have saved you...but I just..." He and looked at her with his teary eyes and she passed a little smile to him. It felt to him like she was saying 'it's all okay, I am okay', which made him gain his composure again and stay strong for his sister, who really need him to be strong for her right now, more than ever.

He wiped his tears and stood up "But I will save you now, even if it meant leaving all family to one side. I gonna save you and we'll go to a better place."

The king and queen who were behaving like spectator till now finally break their silence and King said "Gale! What are you saying?" Gale looked at him with pure anger and said: "I think I should have asked this question from you, King of Chancia." Seeing her son revolting against her husband, the queen said "What are you saying, son? Please don't go under the spell of dark stone. It already had taken my daughter away from me, I don't want my another child go with its wicked ideas."

Gale chuckled darkly and said "But the great queen, she was never taken away from you, or say that you were the one who pushed her to side. You were the one who gave her very first wound. You were the one who announced for her execution." Queen felt a pain her heart by his son's true words and she leaked tears and said "But it was for her best. She is not our daughter anymore."

He said with pure venom in his voice "Wow, what a great mother you are, it is said that; it is a mother who makes a child walk for the first time, it is a mother who gives the child the most of their firsts and congratulations mother, it is you who give her, her very first wound, who for the first time humiliated her, who for the first time hurt her...I don't even want to talk about how great of a mother you are!" He yelled at the last part.

This broke queen down and she lost it with her heartbreaking sobs. Gale knew that there is no point in making them understand, what is the right or wrong because they all already think that she is evil just by touching it. He knew they all lack the knowledge and don't know what reality is. They simply just can't understand that she is nothing evil. He knew that they are bounded to the evil roots of superstition against the dark stone, which includes his family, kingdom, royals and even the whole universe. But still, he wanted to give it a last try. He wanted to try for the last time, he wanted to do it for Aadrika because he knew how much she loves her family and people.

So he said "You are just believing in superstition, she still is our baby sister, she still is your little daughter. She still is our little princess. She is still Chnacia's princess"...
