Kael's deafeat 2

"At last! Your pack now belongs to me! Ha! Victory at long last!"

Kael lay on the floor. He felt defeated, and useless.   His last chance of avenging himself, and as usual, he failed.

"Come on, bound them, take them back to the palace. I have some interrogation to do!"

His warriors quickly began their work, binding Kael and his defeated warriors.

Kael felt so ashamed of himself. He couldn't believe he had just screwed everything up. He had failed himself, Oberon, and his pack.

Aegis kept taking in his triumph, "You have always been a failure Kael. I still do not know the reason you choose to become what you are not. Now defeat is looking you in the face," he laughed sarcastically.

Aegis's warriors took them away, Aegis following behind, still taking in his victory.

"This is the best thing I have ever done in years," he leered.

"Come on, tell me, where were you going?"
