The Afterlife Wasn't Easy

Before I start this off I just want to inform everyone that I'm not very good at writing and I just been thinking this idea for a long time that I wanted to express it onto this app. This story is not meant to offend anyone, to poke fun at or undermine ones religion, or pursuade anyone. Now that this is done enjoy the story

There was a young man named Mizu which meant water in Japanese. Mizu was named this because when the villagers found Mizu as a baby he was at the bottom of there community well crying. Today was the day he was supposed to be sent off to war he was allowed to visit his parents one last time as he would not see them for a while. As he walks into the cold spooky house he hears from upstairs his adoptive parents readying for Mizu unbeknownst he was already there staring at them with a grin on his face. His parents finally noticing him come rushing down the stairs and gives him a great bear hug his mother says "do you really have to go son" even though she already knows the answer. Mizu replied to his mother in a sad tone saying "I won't be gone for too long". His mother getting off of him and wiping off the tears says "this isn't fair how could they take my precious son" but the sadness in the atmosphere is quickly replaced with anger as the father says "this war shouldn't be happening if it wasn't for those damn" he is quickly cut off by Mizu who says "father you shouldn't get so mad or else you'll faint from all the blood rushing to your head" which the father responds with a sour look.
