A System?!!!

By my count, it had been two to three months since I was transmigrated here.

After familiarizing myself with the new energy the constitutes most of my spiritual body now I am calling it magic energy for now since there a slime here I am sure I am in a kind of fantasy world maybe there are elves, dwarves, etc and since there is magic energy I tried using it but with no success even a simple spell the lights up the surroundings is not working.

I was always bad at Kidō barely knowing the basics even though I was the kind that likes mages over warriors, my aptitude was not that good and it was not practical for me in battle, I would die from cringing if I had to recite chuunibyou lines in the middle of a fight, if there is no silent casting here, I won't be using it.

I was hoping to use basic Kaidō to at least speed up the healing process but it doesn't work here maybe the rules are different so I had to heal the old fashioned way, that is to increase the absorption speed and hope for the best.

I was recovering until I heard an emotionless voice in my mind:

Self-Regeneration skill acquired. 

What was that?!!! am I hallucinating now don't tell this is the legendary SYSTEM, I tried calling a few times but there was no answer the only difference is that healing became a little easier. did really get a healing skill what kind of world is this.

After sensing myself carefully I discovered so kind of force in my soul when i try to check i intuitively know that this is my self-regeneration skill, there was no other changes, I don't know if my case is special or is everybody like that

After feeling the effect of the skill on my body I tried moving around and finally succeeded, now that the skill is activated I don't have to focus so much on healing and can control my body.

A day later and I am all recovered but here is the problem when I say I recovered I mean I don't feel so disoriented but sadly my strength is basically gone, I am barely at a level of a slightly good new recruit shinigami and I don't even have a Sword any more.

So with nothing else to do I try to scout the surroundings, there is still no light in here so I try map out the surroundings with magical energy now that I am fully focused on visualizing the terrain my following the movement of energy it is doable.

while I was startled by that voice again everything around becomes a lot clearer that was until a strong headache assaulted my mind and I couldn't withstand the burden even my spiritual body fluctuated a little.

I hurriedly cut of my senses and everything returned normal, that was a frightening the amount of information coming from that skill, it nearly fried my brain thankfully I don't have a physical one.

I checked the damage and it is not to bad although I feel lighter, after carefully analyzing myself I discovered that part of the magical energy I absorbed was bound to the new skill although I could still use that energy it is fixed to me now and I can absorb more maybe I get a couple more skills I can increase the quantity of magic energy in body, Is this how people get stronger in here why do I feel I am in a rpg game.

Getting up on my feet I slowly extend my senses again slowly this time It heavy on the mind but still maangable but i cant spread that far, I can see in a 360 degree around me it quite strange,I was aware of my surroundings before but not as clear as ths.

Since it is impossible for me to keep this up for long I managed to calibrate it to decrease the amount information although now I can't image everything clearly like before If I focuse on something in particular I can get a clear visualization, it is made easier with the skill maybe I should develop more skills this is quite handy, doing some exercises and practicing basic Hohō techniques shouldn't be a problem.

I started to search for an open space to try it and thankfully my slime neighbor a cleared a big area for me, I wonder where does he store all that stuff? may that is a skill, where is he now anyways?

I began running around testing my speed and it is not that great I am barely at a level of a seated officer,

I try using shunpo by treating magical energy like riatsu in my legs I got a little boost not as much as it suppose to be but a step in the right direction no pun intended.

And while I was trying techniques to see if i get another skill i heard a loud splashing sound in the distance, maybe this the doing slime, what is he doing did he encounter something?!, I follow the sound to find a big underground lake and saw him flying to end of the cavern How did he manage that a water jet?,

I extend my senses and try to follow him when I sensed a terrifying amount of energy from the end of the cavern, that is some serious amount of pressure I am not sure how can me and the slime withstand that amount of stress?

I hope this doesn't cause us trouble I follow him for now to see what this is.
