It was the average day, a very average day. The kids of the first-period class were talking loudly in their separate little cliques. Not masking their obnoxious lives, they continued to chatter, their teacher not fretting over them as class was yet to begin.
Once the bell rang, she was quick to silence the class, after which she began to take attendance. To her surprise, everyone was present on this day; it was now, a not-very-average day. After taking attendance she began to teach and inform them of the class plans for the day.
In mere moments though, the day went from not-very-average, all the way to strange in but a mere moment.
The door shut, a blanket of pure white covered the windows, and the kids on their devices could no longer connect with their forms of media.
The teacher's projector shut off as her gaze began to roam the class in panic covered by confusion, a confusion that every student held over their faces.
Not even a moment later, a runic circle, similar to the magic circles from shows and books spread across the entirety of the floor, runes began to crawl up the walls and windows - the room was soon covered in runes in its entirety.
Before any individual could question what was happening, their vision was blurred by a white flash of light and they all disappeared from where they once were, leaving the classroom empty as if not a soul had once graced it.
An event that left chaos in its wake, from city to state, state to county, country to continent, continent to the world. Questions of what happened that very day would be asked for years to come.
