Bad to the Cat-Bone

Just lifted his upper back from the bed as he propped himself up by his elbows. He looked to the child who was on the floor. Gees, he just felt like an evil person now. He shifted his eyes away, pondering on how to actually make up for his rough demeanor, but at this moment, he just couldn't help it. He felt like he was being fooled for an idiot...guess this is how Papyrus was feeling, huh?

He looked back to the child as the groveled on the floor as the spoke that opening the barrier was not an options due to the other children that were murdered. However, it wasn't all just the king. Sans was a reason one of the six children died, but he wouldn't say a word. He would leave it be and rubbed his chin in thought. How could he even argue with the kid on that? If anyone should know how the civilization is on the surface, they would. He'd take the child's words as a warning...but staying in the underground wouldn't suffice for the monsters either. There was a gathering in the underground, ordered by the king, to announce that if something wasn't done, the underground would become their deathbeds. The monsters were surviving off of supplies fallen to the dump, but how long would that last?

The thought of dying here was something Sans feared most. He also thought of his brother, who wanted to see what the sky really looked like on the surface. Looking above at the ceiling of the underground was beautiful, but it would never come to comparison to the endless blue skies above. Just when sans was about to speak, he heard the hushed child speak once more before passing out. "Consequences"..

Sans stared at the child laying on the floor. Such a pity. Sans empathized the child by grasping their soul once more and levitating them to the bed. Sans on the other hand, lifted up; allowing the child to have the bed to their self to rest. He walked over to the wall next to the bed and would slide his back against it until he was sitting against the floor. To give up a comfy bed for someone he was trying his hardest to forgive, but the feeling of forgiveness was very slim, it was too soon to make amends on something that horrible. He rubbed his lower abdomen where he could remember the feel of where the knife slashed him. Killing him. Clutching the white t-shirt's cloth in his skeleton hands helped him realize that it was the past. He looked up towards the bed where the child rested and sighed. As if watching the kid keenly, but his eye lids would slowly begin to close. As minutes went by, fighting to stay awake, he would not prevail as his eyes were eventually closed. He was asleep

Chara held their position watching silently. Eventually the child vanished once Sans fell asleep.

Flowey and Papyrus were catching up with one another and getting to know each other. Of course, Flowey's rash words did reach Papyrus a few times, but Papyrus fought through to become the tiny flower's friend.

After a long while the child would titch and churn before suddenly tensing up at the sound of their phone ringing. The child sat up on the bed, slinging up like a spring board, before looking around rapidly. Their one eye being covered by their bangs as they would then look at the skull which was off the edge of the bed. The skeleton was up against the wall. Their eyes lowered a bit, they didn't have an expression to share. They simply looked to the wall as if it were something to relate to until the phone continued to ring. Fumbling around in their pockets the human would pull out their phone and stare at it for a few seconds before opening it and seeing whom it was. Pressing answer, the human brought it to their ear.

"My Child, are you okay? You're not hurt right?" The human didn't answer right away and right before she was about to try and talk to the child once more, they finally spoke.

"Yes Mom, I-I'm fine. Was just sleeping over Sans..." Whispering, the human looked towards the sentry whom might still be sleeping. A small smile across their face would form and they tilted their head. Sans looked so cute while they slept.

"Oh, that's swell~" The Queen Toriel laughed into the phone nervously, You ... gave me quite the scare when you ran out there like that. I thought for sure that I would lose you too." Toriel was obviously worried about the child's well-being and probably also their behavior towards the other monsters, since they had a strange feeling about them. Plus, they said to keep the pie ready for 'us' as if there were more than one child returning home.

"I love you mom, I'll call you next time. Just wait for me, I'll be fine. The human informed the Queen before letting out a sigh and hang up on her after she returned her love to the child. Letting out another sigh, they would tuck their phone into their pocket before looking over at Sans, slowly creeping to the edge of the bed to be near him. Frisk brought their face extremely close to San's face. Their stoic expression returning as they watched the Skeleton sleep.

Sans was sound asleep. For the second day of this week, there was no nightmares, nor dreams. Just sleep. He could hear a voice near him, but it was very faint. He was too tired to really pay it any mind. Sans was known for taking quick catnaps, so his body was easily drowning out the sounds around him.

Papyrus and Flowey were finished in the kitchen. If anyone was to come down the stairs, they would see and hear the two engage a conversation about something on the television. From the sound of up-beat music, it was obviously Mettaton putting on a show. And it was a shocking view too; the robot on the television was no longer his square boxed shape. Instead, the robot had a fabulous looking body with glamorous legs. Dancing along the stage as it was hosting the undergrounds fashion show.

This timeline was going through a butterfly effect; each error made was creating new scenes for Frisk. A knock on the door could be heard and from the long wait, it was Undyne returning with news about the human. Papyrus answered the door with a nervous smile as he greeted Undyne to come inside to join him and the flower on the couch.

"U-Undyne! You're back already?" the flower ducked it's head inward as it spotted Undyne coming inside. Though, his ducking wouldn't go unnoticed as she turned to see the not well hidden flower on the sofa.

"Uh, yeah.." she looked from the Flower back to Papyrus. "Apparently everyone claimed it was a human they seen coming with you and Sans. I explained that it was a dog named Frisk, but they seemed a bit puzzled by my knowledge. So I spoke to Alphys."

"A-Alphys? Why?"

"Well, you know she has cameras all over the underground. But she's busy helping behind stage with Mettaton at the fashion show. So I'm waiting on her to get back to the laboratory later on. Anyways...Where's Sans?" she asked looking around the area.

"Oh he's..He's walking the dog?"

"Really? I didnt seen him in town.."

"Oh! Well, he must have used one of his shortcuts!"

"Hm..That makes sense. Well, you don't mind me chillin with you until he gets back right?"

Papyrus was sweating loads of water now. When he told Sans to tell him the truth, he was actually unsure as to why he was feeding into Sans' lie about a dog.

"S-sure..?"

"Haha! This should be interesting.." the wicked flower admitted under a lower tone for only Papyrus to hear. Papyrus welcomed Undyne inside and closed the door behind her.

"If you'll excuse me, I need to use the bathroom!" he stated before dashing up the stairs and quickly towards Sans' room. Quickly opening it and closing it behind himself. Of course, he moved so fast that Undyne couldn't even respond fast enough.

"Okay? So uh..Sup?" she looked to the flower and sat next to it.

"Uhm..Nothing?" the two didnt even look at each other. Quickly fixing there eyes on the television which was playing the fashion show. As silence took over the two, Flowey couldn't help but admit, "Well this is awkward.."

"Tell me about it.."

Papyrus was inside of Sans' room to only see the child was laying in his brother's bed while his brother was sleeping on the side against the wall. "We have sort of a little problem, Frisk.." he stated and then looked to his brother. "How long has he been asleep?" wondering if Sans even got enough sleep...he didnt want to disturb him. He looked so peaceful, for the first time in his sleep, he wasn't fighting against his sleep or even fighting in his sleep. He wanted Sans to endure more time to himself to get some more rest.

The sound of conversation from the lower level of the house definitely reached Frisk plus the awkward moment where Papyrus was forced to lie for Sans, which was rather cringe worthy and a little too obvious. he having to go to the bathroom? Didn't all the juice and food he ate go right through him? He was a skeleton, there were no visible organs. The thought of the skeleton eating made the human giggle quietly to themselves before inching closer to Sanses face before pausing as they heard the Rush of feet coming up the steps and towards Sanses room. Blinking a few times, the human would raise their feet into the air slightly and peer over at the door as it would quickly open and close. The big skeleton standing right there in a panic before saying they had a problem. Well, this could be remedied. Make a friend out of Undyne, right? Though that could be a bit hard or even awkward. The Royal Guard tasked with capturing or killing humans, being befriended by a human.

"He probably fell asleep a little bit after me... Lets keep him that way for a little bit... He looks cute that way," The human said in a hushed tone, but loud enough for Papyrus to hear. Though if Sans was awake now that Papyrus rushed in, that'd be embarrassing.

That's when an idea popped up in their head. They got things that were dumped down here, so there could be quite a few things they could possibly have in their own possessions. Slowly getting off the bed, the human would quietly move over to Sanses closet and open it up and look in a drawer filled with stuff which he probably had interest in before glancing to the side to see a certain hoody hanging up.

Quickly the human closed the closet and pulled the hoodie over their head before opening it again and walking out of the closet for Papyrus to see. The hood had cat ears on it and a tail at the bottom which seemed to move with the wearer's own movements. Probably a gift to Alphys since they're into Anime and all that jazz.

"Meow~" Frisk made a cat face and pose to match the sound which left their lips before looking to the door. The sleeves were obviously too long, but it looked adorable since it was so long on the kid. "Nya~ We could just go down to Undyne and explain that Sans was afraid they'd destroy the house trying to take me before I got spaghetti. Plus since technically you captured me and made a friend out of me, you can make me her friend to, then we can all have spaghetti together. We can call it... Spaghetti night, Nya~" Frisk was trying to be cute, making the cat sounds as well as the anime-affiliated cat poses and pawing gestures.

The human then walked over to the door, nudging the Skeleton out of the way if he remained in front of it and peered out the door by cracking it open a crack. "Miau~" The human made a cat sound loud enough for the strange fish and flower to hear in the living room.
