Chapter 16

Ken stares at the screen and smiles at the sound of the babies heartbeat.

"There's some sort of deterioration happening to her body but it is not affecting the child, but it looks like it will if something is not done and we don't know what we're looking at. She's lucky her body temperature was cooled down earlier."

Ken looks confused, "Body temperature? Are you saying it's a fever that's doing this?" 

The doctor shows Ken the chart, "It's one of the contributing factors but would've done a lot more damaged to the foetus had you not cooled her off. I think that's a layer of water here. The deterioration is lowly eating away at the layer."

"Water?" Ken narrows his eyes Yuno doesn't have an ability she'd never lie to him, or maybe she doesn't know about it. Her sister generated water from her hands Yuno instinctively ran for a source of water.

"Ken I'll be okay. We both will."
