SUPERHERO GETS A GRANDPA SYSTEM

It's not so easy to make it as a superhero these days. In the golden age of heroes, it didn't matter what kind of ability you had. If you had an ability, dressed up in bright colors, and came up with a crazy name; you had it made. You were a hero. The world isn't so simple anymore. Kyle Kane is finding life as a teenage superhero to be worse than a pimple on prom night. Eliminated from his team and forced into normal classes, Kyle's F class powers have doomed him to harassment and mediocrity. Then one day, he gets a cranky message from a system. "I'm your system, congratulations, blah blah blah." Is this Kyle's chance or just another new way to be humiliated?

Collapsing Dungeon of Doom

Without a thought, every member of the dungeon team began to run. Kyle grabbed a couple of soldiers as did Riley. Shadow Bow grabbed their shadows and yanked the rest of them along.

They could feel the dungeon becoming less and less stable. If this dungeon collapsed and they were inside. There wouldn't be any survivors.

*****************************

A few hours before the dungeon team began to run for their lives; Shadow Sis exited the dungeon. She was always cautious and so she slyly hid before anyone noticed her come out of the dungeon.

She saw a dome of energy being constantly bombarded. It was as if their place was under an attack. The Baron was outside shouting some orders to someone.

Instead of approaching the Baron with news about the progress in the dungeon; Shadow Sis decided to check out the situation.

Her eyes were as wide open as they could go and her mouth hung wide open. She was completely in shock by the sight that confronted her.

Soldiers as far as the eye could see were surrounding the area. The only thing keeping them from entering and attacking was the barrier.

More Spirit Men than she had seen in her life were gathered together trying to enter the barrier. She just couldn't understand what was going on.

The army couldn't get in, but those in the barrier couldn't get out. She turned to look behind her to see if there were another way out. That's when she noticed the color of the dungeon changed.

It used to be a dark blue almost black colored stone, but now it was becoming gray. Her delicate hand reached out and touched the brick only to have a chunk of it break off into her hand.

This place was in trouble! The army was coming to the dungeon was crumbling; and everyone in the dungeon was going to die if they didn't get out of there.

It was at that moment when she wrote a little note and tied it to a kunai. She threw the little knife into the shadows aiming for it to reach her brother. After a couple of hours, it finally did.

Now, the dungeon team was running for their lives. Shadow Sis jumped into a shadow and hid while she waited for her brother to reappear and tell her what to do.

***********************

Outside the barrier, Sif and Rollins were growing more anxious. They still didn't know where Kyle was and the dungeon was clearing getting weaker and weaker.

If they couldn't break through the barrier soon, they would all die. Sif hated the feeling of powerlessness she felt at that time. She had never felt this way before.

She was getting desperate and angry.

"This is no time to wait for our death! If you want to know how to get through the barrier I'll show you!" She yelled out all of a sudden.

The gathered Spirit Men were a little surprised but didn't take her very seriously. They had already tried brute force and they could only rely on the great intellects of the Spirit Men.

Sif pulled out her sword and it began to glow with power. The power grew and grew and as it became more powerful; Sif gathered it into the tip of the sword.

She finally turned and rushed toward the flag that she had pointed out so long ago. The sword tip was pointed downward behind her as she rushed toward her goal.

With all of her focus, anger, and separation she sliced up! The sword tip penetrated the barrier and sliced the into the flag! It was destroyed!

That wasn't all, after she successfully sliced the flag apart she stabbed her sword through the barrier and broke completely through!

Everyone was completely shocked by her actions, there was no way any of them ever suspected that she would be able to get through. Up to that point, it seemed like it was impossible.

Once it was done, it was done! Rollins followed his sister and used the same move to penetrated the interior of the barrier.

The army cheered as they watched Sif and Collins enter the barrier. They knew this was their chance to finally contain the great evil.

Sif and Rollins went to find more flags and dispatched them. Soon, a section of the barrier opened up and the army began to pour through.

The Baron saw all of this and was horrified. He knew he was close because the temple dungeon was becoming weaker and weaker. All of the energy was being drained from it.

All he needed was a little more time and the great Rajinn would be awakened! The Baron ordered all of his men to gather into a circle around him. This included his most powerful people.

In the center of the circle, the Baron was surrounded by Keason, Bolk, and several other powerful people. Shadow Sis observed all of this from her hiding place in the shadow.

The Baron held up his medallion he found on the 16th floor of the Temple. Tentacles of energy attached themselves to everyone surrounding the Baron.

Those attached to the energy tentacles began to shrivel until they became nothing. The Baron's eyes became crazy as he screamed.

"Arise Army of Rajinn, your master requires your strength!" he screamed.

A rumbling from the ground could be heard as holes opened in the ground. It seemed like a hole to the netherworld was opened as an army of demon-like creatures arose.

The creatures roared and when they saw the army charging in they immediately attacked.

"For our Master, the Immortal. Rajinn Devourer of Worlds!" The creatures attacked as if they were insane. The United Rovan Army attacked just as ferociously.

It was as if everyone understood this was the last battle. It would determine the life and death of a world.

Swords flew, claws struck and a bloody war began between the army of Rajinn and the Rovan Army.
