The professional delusionist

A long time ago, in a far away land of the memories, existed a hero and a writer. The writer loved the hero unconditionally and the hero loved the writer not knowing what kind of existence she was. Not realizing after all the unconditional love, he was just a character in her text. Do you ever wonder when reading those stories of people of earth being reincarnated into a novel they read, what if that was really possible? That it was real? That you could go into your favorite writing? Be with your favorite person? Save that one character you love so much or drive the character you hate to their demise? Strictly speaking, many may say you’re delusional because they simply don’t believe you. Humans are like that, they want to witness it themselves but even if they do they convince them that they’re being delusional and something out of the logic they know cannot exist. Well, nowadays everyone believes in science so they seek evidence for your claims. Before was no different either but rather than asking for evidence, they’d simply label you as a person of witchcraft for believing in the unknown and be placed in a stake to be judged. “I guess humans have evolved in that sense,” whatever you want to make out of this comment, I’ll leave it up to you. Personally, I don’t believe things until I see it but I like being delusional about these stories. It lets me be free, to live different lives, in different worlds, to be different creations and to be a different me. I mean, I can be a villain, hero, healer, detective, chef, architect, archeologist, actor, actress and peacock. I like peacocks since they're pretty. Anyways, you all get my point right? I like being delusional to escape reality. Just like how others use television for entertainment, I use my delusion as one. But don’t worry, I’m not ill as I’m aware of my own delusions. I do know when to stop. So, the conclusion is that the protagonist of this novel is also a delusionist. A professional one at that. I mean, Kyra is a writer after all…
