Months have passed since Sara was cured of the spore infection, during this time Marcus has spanned his influence across the unknown regions. During his conquest he encountered more abhumans and quickly integrated them into the Imperium.

Those who were already apart of the Imperium since the very beginning have began rising within the class system. Those who had a natural talent for studying and learning remained within schools and colleges.

Those who were not 'gifted' in this field happily enlisted within the military. Be it the Navy or the Army and so on, In general the civil population of the Imperium was happy and joyful.

Matters regarding Adam went well in Marcus's eyes, he offered Adam a military scholarship to the best academy to date which he happily accepted.

Naturally, joining the military was free along side the Imperium paying those who enlisted. Those who join would be sent to sufficient military camp where they would learn combat and limited tactics.

The scholarship however allowed someone to join a prestigious academy that housed advanced combat classes, complex tactics, ideal orders, simulations, and so on.

The scholarships, however, were not free and in actuality very expensive resulting in the most common people being unable to join unless their Accomplishments were noteworthy.

Those who attended this academy had an almost guarantee high-rank position within the military. Unbeknownst to Adam as well as his future classmates, his training would be 'unique' compared to the standard lessons.

Marcus at this moment was examining a prototype War Droid through an observation window. Unlike the Sith War droids this prototype would potentially be the next generation Machine used by the Imperium if all went well.

The machine was 'humanoid' in design with a torso, arms, legs, hands, and head. The robot was bulky as it was covered in thick armor however, it's joints remained 'lightly' armored.

The term lightly was an understatement. The 'main' armor was capable of withstanding lightsaber strikes while the 'light' armored joints remained vulnerable to them but we're more than capable of withstanding standard blaster rounds.

This was only possible due to the synthetic metal the Imperium managed to create dubbed 'divinium'. The original goal was to create a metal equal to beskar but thanks to SN-21 it was surpassed.

The head housed a vertical gold visor which allowed sharp image scans that would allow the robot to make quick decisions.

However, the most advanced technology incorporated into the War Droid would be 'Blacklight'...

Suddenly the Golden visor powered on allowing the entity within to process it's surrounding and immediately noticed multiple Sith War droids not far from it.

The entity noticed the droids weapon system powering on and immediately set its scanner systems to hostile.

Suddenly a pod located on the back of the entity opened up revealing multiple mini mortars and not even half a second later fired.

As small explosions riddled the makeshift battlefield the entity marched forwards as a compartment opened on it's leg allowing it to pull a weapon.

This weapon was a Pistol in design and fired physical rounds unlike traditional blasters commonly found today.

Marcus watched as Blacklight activated its Learning algorithm against the Sith war droids. The artificial intelligence was slightly older than a newborn baby, however, it could learn at an incredibly fast pace.

Soon minutes passed and the AI managed to destroy all but one of the droids. Marcus noticed the AI squandered all it's ammunition with unnecessary actions.

Nevertheless, he remained optimistically about it as blacklight would only improve as time moved on. Blacklight was named as such due to its hivemind capability and Marcus remembers a particular virus from a game he once played and named it as such.

He watched a blacklight began to recklessly fight the war droid with it's bare fist as it began learning as it continued to fight...

Okay so I'm going to put this novel on hold because work is going to keep me busy for awhile. I've only manage to write this much since then.

Until then you will need to wait until things calm down. Sorry guys. ]
