Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

Lord Morris Fights

~~~(POV: Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Balmorra)~~~

Our lightsabers clash for the first time, and he's surprised at how sturdy I am. With the twist of my wrist, I move his blade aside and spin my body to his open side. The tip of my blade drives towards his heart, but he jumps back before I can reach him. Lord Morris softly lands, and he takes a single breath to calm the nerves of our first engagement.

He keeps his guard up, and his body points towards me, and he's making sure that I'm within his view at all times. "You're no pushover, Lord Morris. Your movement tells me that Ataru has been your preferred choice of combat for many years now." His athletic movement and attacks are only capable by someone who studies Ataru with dedication.

I'm an Ataru Practitioner myself, but I'm not solely dedicated to that form of combat. "Your words humble me." His sarcastic tone makes me smile. I've never seen a Sith with a sense of humor, another thing that makes him stand out. "I hope that you'll forgive me, but I'm fighting for my life here." I get it... He's trying to bring some joy to his last moments.

My body is filled with Force Energy, and I leap towards him, utilizing my own Ataru attacks, and he's expertly parrying and dodging my attacks. Using Ataru won't work against him, despite how much I wanted to see if I could beat him with his own style of choice. "I've underestimated you, Lord Morris. You're far more capable than I thought you'd be." This is a genuine compliment too.

Wasting no time, I switch into my custom stance and my own unique style of using Niman, Ataru, Shien, and D'jem So. My speed and power quickly overwhelms him, and he chooses to jump back. I throw out my hand and pull him back towards me. His shocked look causes a desperate, yet effective move. He throws his lightsaber at me.

I leap to my right, dodging the spinning red blade. Ending this fight would be easy for me, but I want to have some sort of competition or fight. That's how you determine your progress, and I love checking it as often as I can. "Sith spit... Didn't think that'd work..." His breathing is heavy, and his face is heavy with stress. That was a little unfair, in all honesty.

He's caught his breath, and there is no sense in waiting now. Another burst of Force power invigorates me, and I start attacking again. He's quick on adapting, and now he's not simply moving back from me. He's locking blades and parrying my strikes. He shifts his stance, and I have to respond by going on the defensive.

He pushes me with everything he has. His Ataru is fast and almost a blur, but I respond to every attack following The Force and do just what I need. In regards to Nomen Karr, he's a superior duelist. Probably cause he's mastered Ataru, one of the most offensive lightsaber forms. Nomen Karr preferred D'jem So, and while that's effective, it wouldn't be against me.

With an upward strike from myself, I leave his guard open, and I Force Push him away. He lands on his feet as he slides back. He immediately puts his guard back up, and his labored breath tells me what I need to know. Most who use Ataru suffer from what he's suffering from, loss of stamina. It's incredibly taxing on the body, and even the best Masters of the form still struggle with it.

Your connection to The Force has to be just at strong as your blade work, and from what I'm sensing, Lord Morris only has an average connection. "I know you're holding back on me, and while it is insulting, I understand. Let's end this with our next clash, shall we?" He wants an end to this. Prolonging his life just makes it harder on him in this situation.

His thoughts are filled with his family, and the thought of having to leave them is giving him power and pain, but he knows he can't win against me. "Farewell, Lord Morris." My words cause him to become stiff, and I charge towards him in speed and power, unleashing a deadly assault. In a few seconds, I leap behind him and drive my blade through his exposed back. A clean and concise hole.
